First Song ♫ Video (@wild.flower; filtered away from minors)
[ When the camera feed starts to roll, Rose already has everything staged. She had managed to scrape up together enough money for a DJ booth and is sitting behind it. Music flows out of the speakers, bass thrumming through the floor. And probably disturbing the neighbors! How can someone really upset about the noise though when she’s grinning so big?
With the turn of her wrist, she dials back the sound and pulls her headphones down but leaves her fashionable shutter shades on. ] Hey, Quarantine. In light of this month’s festivities, I have a burning question for everyone.
[ Well. Mostly, everyone. There’s a reason that this thing is filtered away from minors. The music suddenly shifts to the ever classic Bump N’ Grind by R. Kelly. Her head sways to the opening beat, smile still going strong. It’s low enough to be heard in the background but that she can still speak over it clearly. ]
Music says a lot about a person, I think. So, knowing that... What’s your favorite love makin’ song? What’s the one you use to set the mood or enjoy getting freaky to?
[ A small pause as she considers. ]
Hard Mode: No Marvin Gaye. Don't get me wrong! I love Marvin much as the next woman. He’s timeless, but- Also a little overdone. So, lay it on me gentlemen and lllllladies [ winkwonk ] since I wanna’ hear what song gets you going.

Marvin Gaye's kind of cheating, isn't it? Kind of like, uh... Al Green, right? Gotta be more creative than that.
i'm now stuck in earth, wind, and fire boogie hell thx
Yeah, totally cheating. Everyone goes for Marvin. Just like if you ask about Disco, Earth, Wind, and Fire are like the first band people think of. That's because they're amazing but still!
I wanna' see what unique songs people come up with.
welcome!
[Don't listen to him, he's never worked with anything.]
You're the music expert here, any suggestions? You know, if you're trying to impress someone.
[He's not, considering he's a virgin surrounded by virgins but there's nothing wrong with flirting right? Right!]

Uh. Do you not realize how many songs have been written for the sole purpose of people boning?

[We've been over this. His musical exposure stops somewhere between Panic! and Beethoven, Rosie, what did you expect?]
I realize there are more songs than I'll ever comprehend the need for, but this is ridiculous.

[ Not that he didn't like Sting before, but. You know. ]

I might be biased. I tend to like songs or bands with my name in them.
no subject
[ He chuckles a bit. ] It's a nice song, though in this particular context, I think I'm more of a Fields of Gold kinda guy. Or Fragile, Shape of my heart... that kind of tune.

[That's it. That's her answer.]

[ To showcase her point, Megan Trainor's No starts to play in the background now. ]
That doesn't narrow it down for me.

It means no. Just-- no.
[She doesn't even want to entertain the whole ideas of music people do sex to, gross.]

You are talking about ritual sex? [Even after being in Riverview for a few months now, he was still unaware that there were things, such as the phone in his hand, that could play music in his home. Therefore, he had to assume she meant some kind of public sex, and the first kind that came to mind was ritual sex.]
no subject
I mean, I guess one could argue playing music to have sex has become kind of a ritual in today's age. Not everyone does it, but- It helps set the mood. Makes things more fun and less awkward, usually.
no subject
I mean... are you talking about having sex as a part of a ritual. Where there are those playing music.
[He scratched his fingers through his beard, still not sure she'd understand what he was saying, so he tried something completely different.]
I do not understand your question.

countless people were conceived to that man's dulcet tones
Queen B is an excellent choice though
that's absolutely a love makin' song
no subject
Doesn't that make it kinda cliche then? Like, if I'm going back to some dude's place to bang and the only sex music he's got is the sex music everyone uses I'm not all that impressed, you feel?

[minsu doesn't think it worked that often but...in this case, that's a good thing.]
Oh! There was this one song called "Belong to You". That always promised a good night.

[ Minsu, how did you neglect to tell her about this! ]
By Sabrina Claudio, maybe? [ She's searchign her collection for it as they speak. ]

This song.
[She turns on her ipod and a potentially familiar song begins to play through her speakers.]
That or Duran Duran's Hungry Like The Wolf.
[Freya flashes her friend a bright smile.]

At the music that plays, Rose gives an airy laugh of amusement.]
Wouldn't be my first choice, but- That's not bad. [ Especially not if you're a Star Wars fan. ]
The other one though? Somehow, not surprising.
