It really is a shame servants can't be employed here - or am I wrong? Is it more a question of price? I can understand wanting to be well-compensated. I always thought I was an easy Master -

I have thought about that too. Not... paying anyone. But I do miss having slaves at times.

And this place, it is funny, it is, maybe, more dangerous because of the beasts outside of the perimeter fence, but I have never known a life as peaceful as the one I have here.

I can't blame you. There are definitely positive aspects to owning slaves. However I prefer servants because they are less likely to revolt.

Yes. Yes, he is. He's still young enough though that learning to live without servants and a mansion is easy. He's also lived through situations in which he had neither.]

Besides, our home isn't large enough to accommodate servants.

You won't be able to find a person to fit the 'servant' context you are looking for [~~thank goodness?]~~

But! You could hire a maid to come clean once or twice a week if you do not have time for it. Also, there are personal chefs you can hire to cook for you in meal times. Of course, personal chefs are really expensive if you seek high-quality and exotic dishes.

Manage, yes, but what about excelling? { Be a spoiled brat; it's fun! Vincent can live on the streets if he has to - he is terribly charming - but why? This life is better, surely. }
