If you could have one wish, what would you wish for? Not like...money or anything. Not for powers, but what would you really wish for?

[Because it's her birthday, and she wasn't really in the mood to celebrate. Of course, she'll wish for her family to be okay, for them to remember and come here so they could meet Victor. But...would that be a waste of a wish? Sure, wishes were powerful, but she was in another world, and she didn't think they would be strong enough to pull her family from one realm to the next...

Or, maybe she's just over thinking things. Maybe she just wants to talk and not think about her birthday.]

[ Look, curse-breaking plans aside, dealing with normal plans like "who will take care of me in case of X" shouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility. ]

At the very least, is it not worth trying?

It's...worth trying.

[It's a normal plan, how hard could those be? Better than having to come home and figure out what to do...]

And it gives us the chance to talk in case...I go away, or anything else.

No. Not particularly. Time moves faster than you realize.

No. Everyone I know will pass on long before I do.

Have you thought about taking photos or pictures of those you care about?

So you always have something of them.

[ He chuckles softly. ]

Even those has a finite lifespan.

I would like to...if that’s okay.

Maybe you could use magic? Maybe a spell to help keep pictures pristine or ?

I do have spells of that sort.

[ His illusions can be crafted out of memories. Thoughts. ]

But it feels too real. And there is always the danger of being trapped in an illusion.

Well...maybe you don’t have to make the photos or memories too real. Maybe something lighter? Something less translucent? So you know it’s an illusion and won’t get trapped.

[ There’s a faint smile on her face but it fades after a few seconds. ]

...does it get lonely? [ Being alive for so long...]

It does.

[ Especially now that there's nothing left of Asgard. Not even a murmur. All Loki had were his memories. And Thor. ]

That is why Gods rarely interact with mortals.

[ That made sense. Why get involved with people who you would eventually out live? But...it’s still a lonely life. ]

I didn’t know. I thought it was for other reasons—forbidden or a lack of interest..

Maybe...we could figure something else to go with the photos? Something to really persevere a memory so you won’t feel lonely?

Perhaps. I don't want to get too ahead of myself though.

[ In case it fails. A lot of what he assumed to be eternal was not. ]
