When he greets the camera it's with the ease of someone who has done far too many video conference calls, and he smiles brightly, his voice it's usual friendly tone. ]

Before I get into things, I should probably say hello, so: my name is Alex Murry, and back home I'm a theoretical physicist. Now--can I have a headcount as to who in their universe has some sort of faster than light travel? Also, how many people here are from a place that's not Earth?

Oh-- [ a brisk snap of his fingers ] --Is there anybody here who has the ability to teleport? If you're willing to talk about anything I've mentioned or things similar to it, I'd love to hear about it. [ Judging from how eager he is, it's genuine. ]
