[ There's questions that have been burning in his mind for a while. This place has confirmed a lot of his theories, yes, but the fact of the matter is he still has a million more questions to ask and he's finally narrowed it down to a few. When he greets the camera it's with the ease of someone who has done far too many video conference calls, and he smiles brightly, his voice it's usual friendly tone. ]

Before I get into things, I should probably say hello, so: my name is Alex Murry, and back home I'm a theoretical physicist. Now--can I have a headcount as to who in their universe has some sort of faster than light travel? Also, how many people here are from a place that's not Earth?

Oh-- [ a brisk snap of his fingers ] --Is there anybody here who has the ability to teleport? If you're willing to talk about anything I've mentioned or things similar to it, I'd love to hear about it. [ Judging from how eager he is, it's genuine. ]

It's probably the same principal, but with a slightly different method. [ He's got to address the rest of what the other's saying, probably, but it takes him a beat to pull himself out of his thoughts. Whoops. ]

I'm not so sure science and magic aren't the same thing, by the way, and as for teleporting, I can, sort of. My daughter's better than me, though, you should see her go.

I don't know if magic and science are related or not. I don't have magic and my culture isn't really scientifically advanced. The rest of the world went forward and we hid from change. [In relation to almost every aspect of society. Alec's lucky he didn't have a nervous breakdown when he arrived on a moon populated with people from so many different realities.]

Sort of doesn't sound reassuring when teleporting. What sort of places can she teleport to?
