[Cable doesn't waste much time signing in to Riverview's network, opting for audio as a means to announce himself.]

New arrival to the Quarantine. Name's Cable. [He pauses for a moment. He's checking stuff out as he roams around, both in the scenery and the network itself. He's been in different periods of time and has been dumped randomly in places before. So excuse him if he sounds fairly casual about all of this.]

Guessing there's no known way out of this place, right? [At least they aren't restricted to just the city/town by the look of things. A little exploring might do him some good, then.]

Well, I am sort of the queen of eating out... Or at least was for a while, what do you like?

Bit of everything. Turns out plenty of things are better than rations.

[A beat.]

Except for kale.

[The mention of kale made Alex laugh, she couldn't help it. Even though she lived in hipsterville, USA, she didn't know a single person (other than Nic honestly) who actually found themselves liking kale. Of course they all ate the damned thing because it was everywhere, but that didn't mean it was good.

But while she's laughing, Alex's fingers are busy, and she sends him along several addresses.]

The first place is an amazing noodle shop, and the second place is the best coffee shop in town. They have some pretty amazing and innovative sandwiches.

[He doesn't need to ingest as much as others tend to, so Alex's suggestions sound perfectly light.]

They're a little spicy and one of my favorite and I know they have them vegan and vegetarian if that's what you're in to.
