['sup quarantine, today y'all get +1 very bored teen speedster sighing and rolling his eyes in a highly dramatic fashion, phone balanced on his knee to film as he's lounging on the couch in his apartment.]
Please tell me I'm not the only one here who feels like puking over this holiday thing. It's like Valentine's Day on steroids! Ugh! [he shudders to highlight his disgust.] I mean, why do we need a whole big thing for romaaaantic loooove anyway? And soulmates? Psh! I mean, if that's your thing, go for it, but those of us who're a little more sane oughta stick together, right? Maybe have our own anti-holiday or something. Who's with me?

[to the last question, anyway. tommy shrugs.]
I don't get why people get so hung up on feelings all the time. Seems like a total waste to me.

Feelings are not a waste of time, but losing yourself to them all of the time is. And, to be fair, everything has its place in the sun. The constant dwelling on them is where trouble begins.

There was a time where I believed that about myself. However, I think it stands to point out that one doesn't have to be single to find that the constant "relationship" holidays are getting repetitive and frustrating for others as well.

Yeah, a little more variety would be cool. Where’s the holiday for just partying and having a good time? Can’t we just have something like Mardi Gras once in a while?

I'm not certain what Mardi Gras, if it is an Earth holiday, but we did just have Carnivale not that long ago. It was a lot of partying and "having fun". It made being part of the Perimeter Guard....less about patrolling the fences and walls certainly.

Y'know, that is great idea! How hard can it be to plan a party? [he laughs.] You're brilliant, dude!

It is not exactly the easiest thing if watching one of my acquaintances back home, but she is extremely organized. However, it really depends on what sort of occasion you want to have and who you want to invite.
