Hello, everyone.

I don't really know if anyone is celebrating Halloween next month, but if you are then please let me know. I'd especially be interested in helping out if anyone wants to work on a haunted house. I think it's great there's a holiday that celebrates things that are common in my world, and I want to be a part of it.

On a somewhat related note, I could use some help making something for my boyfriend. I'd like someone who can play an instrument, but if you're good at building things then that can work, too. Thanks.

From what I understand, the haunted houses people make have more than just ghosts. Is that right?

Oh yeah, any assortment of gross things, monsters and jump scares. When I did a story for PNWS I was given a statistic that the average decent size haunt in American uses something like five hundred gallons of fake blood a weekend.

Huh. That's... not really what I had in mind. I mean, the monsters and ghosts of course, but not that other stuff.

Yeah, and honestly, I don't think you really need it. It's more fun to be scared when it's not the gross out sort of scared. Hence the helping with ghost faking stuff.

Are you offering to help out?

Yeah, a bit. I mean I can't do the whole scaring people thing, but I can help with illusions and stuff. And I'll see if I can wrangle Richard into it too, being as I learned how people fake this stuff from him.

I'd appreciate all the help you can round up. I'm a little surprised more people aren't into this. I guess no one's really into haunted houses.

I think it might be that Riverview itself is kinda a haunted house in October by itself. But I’ll plug it on the news too if it’ll help!

Look, just between us, it's okay if it's not that big of a thing. I want to do something for James and if nothing else, the haunted house will work on that front.
