Bond 3 [@prof.sycamore: Video]
[Once the video starts, you can see Professor Sycamore sitting on his bed in the communal floor, who is contemplating about something until he shifts his sight to the camera.]
I know this is a weird question coming from me, but do you have any suggestions regarding self-defense weaponry and training?
Since these monster attacks are escalating around the Quarantine, I'm worried that my Garchomp will get hurt from fighting them in terms of their strength and I want to know how to defend myself if she's incapacitated.

[ Color his curious. ]
That's not a bad idea but I prefer to be well-rounded. Depends on how far you want to go in teaching yourself self-defense.

[Not to mention that he had to spend a few hours explaining what are Pokemon are. At least that allowed him to create a night class specifically about Pokemon for the residents to know.]
You're right. Everyone has their way to learn how to fight, right?
Still, I'm not exactly comfortable with using guns.

[ A professor is probably one of the best solutions to a sudden influx of fauna no one else knows how to deal with. ]
There's nothing wrong with that. That suggestion is half on the money, though. You'd probably be better going to the Perimeter Guards but I'll leave my offer on the table anyhow.
no subject
Okay, thank you for your suggestion. But I'll think about your offer in case I get second thoughts.
no subject
Sure thing. Name's Jacob Kane. You feel like talking more about those magic creatures?
no subject
Are you interested in them?
no subject
You could say that. I don't have anything approaching magic back home, much less a whole species. No unicorns, no vampires, no mermaids, no nothing.
no subject
Well, I have a night class about Pokemon. It's open to everyone if you're interested.
no subject
[ Definitely interested. ]

I usually have lectures on the basics about Pokemon and how to catch and take care of them.

[ Cain presumes the mentioned "Garchomp" is one of these pokemon, but... what, he went and domesticated it himself? Really? ]
no subject
[He then shows the said item to Cain onscreen.]
Of course, you need to weaken a Pokemon or befriend one in order to capture them
no subject
Weaken with... other pokemon? Or otherwise just find a nice one.
no subject
But if you befriend it and the Pokemon can trust you, you can capture it without having to battle.

But if you don't want to engage in a Pokemon battle, you can keep them as pets instead.

[Obviously, that's what Pokemon Professors do.]

[ He's done the college thing before, he can totally do this! ]
no subject
I'll see you in class then.
[Yup, he is happy to see a new student in class.]
no subject
[ He'll be a good student, he swears! ]
