I know this is a weird question coming from me, but do you have any suggestions regarding self-defense weaponry and training?

Since these monster attacks are escalating around the Quarantine, I'm worried that my Garchomp will get hurt from fighting them in terms of their strength and I want to know how to defend myself if she's incapacitated.

That's not a bad idea but I prefer to be well-rounded. Depends on how far you want to go in teaching yourself self-defense.

Yeah... To be honest, I was shocked when they told me about it then.

There's nothing wrong with that. That suggestion is half on the money, though. You'd probably be better going to the Perimeter Guards but I'll leave my offer on the table anyhow.

[He's right. He did pick the right profession just for himself, which allows him to know more about Mega Evolution, but also to aid others when it comes to Pokemon.]

You could say that. I don't have anything approaching magic back home, much less a whole species. No unicorns, no vampires, no mermaids, no nothing.

Well, I have a night class about Pokemon. It's open to everyone if you're interested.

It's being held at Riverview University every Tuesdays and Thursday.

I usually have lectures on the basics about Pokemon and how to catch and take care of them.

Catch them?

Yes. What's unique about these Pokemon is that you can capture them with a special tool called a Poke Ball.

[He then shows the said item to Cain onscreen.]

Of course, you need to weaken a Pokemon or befriend one in order to capture them

[ What... Cain takes a breath, just kind of absorbing all this because that part is weird. This whole thing is weird. Not upsettingly so, but in a way he has to twist his head around it. That part's unfamiliar, rusty. ]

Weaken with... other pokemon? Or otherwise just find a nice one.

Yes. You can do so by battling it using your own Pokemon.

But if you befriend it and the Pokemon can trust you, you can capture it without having to battle.

And you just regularly make animals fight so you can get... more?

Well, it depends on the trainer and the Pokemon they want to catch.

But if you don't want to engage in a Pokemon battle, you can keep them as pets instead.

Definitely sounds like there's a lot behind this whole thing. You go over that in your class?

Why yes. Of course, it's all up to you whether you want to attend it or not.
