[ The look on Tony's face as the feed clicks on is clearly unamused. Possibly even Unamused, capital and all. Why is he so irritated you might ask? Well, don't you worry about that, he is bound to let you know. As soon as he finishes sipping on his coffee in a more than obnoxious way. If you look close enough, and know Tony, you will be able to see a darkness beneath his eyes, the kind that comes with too much coffee and too many ideas and not enough hours in the day, so clearly he has to sacrifice some of the night for the Greater Good or some shit.

Whatever. That is why there is coffee.

Once the coffee has been consumed, Tony gets up from where he is sitting, and it becomes very obvious that he is in the kitchen on the floor, a kitchen you have all seen thanks to a Viking, but there is no sign of him now. However, there are signs of someone making a rather large breakfast here (if only you could smell it, seriously, Tony would kill to eat some of it okay) and not sharing.

This? This is why Tony is unamused.]

Really, you come in here, use the space and leave the dishes, while also not sharing?

[ Steve is gonna be annoyed. Not that he isn't usually in that state. The images shifts as Tony puts the phone down, and there is the sound of more coffee making its way into his cup while you get a lovely view of the ceiling. Look, no scorch marks. Yet.]

That's just rude, even for gods of chaos and mischief. And here I was going to make you a fancy partial AI for your phone. Ha.

[ Look, he doesn't know if it was Loki, but he assumes it is. Because if it was Steve or Bucky they would have shared, and he is pretty sure that Stephen only eats things that are still moving, and Billy-- well maybe him too. But for now, his ire is on Loki.]

Also, working on some ideas for the defence perimeter, some new weapons and targeting systems, if there is anyone that has any ideas, let me know. I mean, I've probably already thought of it, but still might be nice to bounce ideas around.

Only eyes like it on the plane I'm from. I think it has to do with my fire.

*Tony that is a bad idea for untold reasons. She's making faces at some of the words, mouthing them and trying to figure out what they mean. 'Electronic' being the one giving her the most trouble. But once she seems to twig to what he's saying she brightens... and maybe there's a bit of smoke from her hair.*

Engineer! Yeah, that's an Artificer! You make things that are like magic, but it's all about clever design and stuff. Not any innate magic to yourself. Just the right tools, ideas, and materials! But... are you sure making the weapons able to fire themselves is a good idea? I guess being easier to aim is good, but wouldn't a remote system be better than autonomous.

*Last time she dealt with an autonomous system she had to blow up the building to escape. So she might be a bit biased against machines just doing things.*

All of that!

*She holds up a hand, letting a small flame dance over her fingers for a few moments. It was easier than having her hair burst into flames.*

I'm a pyromancer, fire magic is kinda my thing.

Every time someone tells me something is completely safe it tries to kill me, or my friends. And this was extra true at home with machines. The stuff mom made is fairly safe, but she never gave it more than the most basic movements. Nothing that attacked without a command.

Well, it's magic, and I'm sorta an Abbot of an order of pyromancer monks. Being skilled at fire magic is just sorta innate with all of us. And no, I can't explain how it works. I slept through those lessons. Or skipped them to go play in a volcano. I really think the monks were making crap up to explain it because it never made sense.

*Chandra Nalaar everyone!*

That's... kinda dumb. I mean machines are easier if you're really good at them, but people are always a lot more surprising to be around. Machines don't suddenly change unless you really screwed up.

Mom and dad just got it, when it came to metal and machines. I get fire. I don't see the big deal. This is just how I work, I guess.

*Chandra Nalaar everyone!*

I've had some of that, but I also got 'my mom wasn't dead like that jerk told me' surprises. I mean, they can't all be bad surprises all the time, right?

*Stop helping Chandra.*

Well, not my parents, they just... work on machines. They can make airships and weapons and stuff. But they do it the old fashioned way.

But I met someone named Saheeli who can warp metal into all sorts of things with just a wave of her hand. She's real good at making machines that perfectly mimic animals.

*This isn't weird, you're weird!*

Maybe not, um... look, there are good people out there! You should meet them, and when you run into the backstabbing murdering ones you should punch them in the face. Yeah! That more helpful?

Saheeli is special with what she does, so I'm not sure. Aunt Oviya they just do what she builds them to. She spends hours studying small birds to get the motions just right. Carefully building the gears and chains to do them, and programming the little motions in.

*She knows the words but not the nature of the action. She never had the patience for building anything, let alone being a lifecrafter.*

If they used to be friends, then you need to punch them even harder. So they get some sense. And, I dunno, build a thing to punch them when they run off?

Not a thing. I know they do it, but even the most basic apprentice projects I'd get angry and stab the stupid junkpiles with the tools they gave me.

*Chandra would never be like her parents, not when it came to machines.*

Then... try to fix whatever happened. Or punch them. I don't know, mushy stuff isn't really me. I always say the wrong thing and something ends up on fire.

Um... I'm not really good at making elementals that don't, um, burn out. But if you need a machine powered off fire I could do it while I'm there.

*She has no idea what he's thinking, but it could be fun.*

I can usually keep people from dying. Well, now.

*Her dad? Not so much.*

You make it too weak, it fades away and just... blows out like a candle. Make it too strong it, well, explodes at some point. Living fire creatures are delicate, and really complicated.

*Knowing what you're thinking is boring, having a mind described as a hurricane that's on fire is fun! So Chandra can relate.*

Being a bit better at being careful. Knowing to keep an eye out for the people that matter to me. This isn't a magic thing, my magic is all about destroying everything.

That doesn't sound creepy? We'd just need the right place to not worry about what I set on fire.
