[When the feed flicks on, Thor's face engulfs it before he notes to move it back a little more. He's alright with technology, but not great.]

Hello. [He says, and he needs to pause because he feels like he's talking to himself.]

In amongst recent.. events, I thought it might be of some use to offer training in strength and combat. We are well protected, to be sure, but a new start in life can be enriched with new skills. If you are interested in learning, I can make myself available.

And on that note- [The camera shifts as he stands, and he swivels it to pan over a sad, indoor collection of potted plants. All in varying states of death. It's a horror movie for plant-based life forms.]

In the interest of learning new skills, I have begun to garden. I am aware it has not gone to plan. [He swivels the camera back to himself, unimpressed.]

I need a hardy plant, one that can withstand my novice abilities. I've no care for something pretty, I just want it to live. [The saddest request he's ever made, he's sure.]

If you have experience in this area, I'd be interested to know why my plants have made a murderer of me. I can provide coffee for your services.

[Well then, that's a surprise Thor wasn't expecting to see. His brows raise momentarily, followed by a very wide smile. There's excitement in his expression, already.]

I can happily offer myself as an opponent, I do not injure easily. [Although this guy seems to know that.] You look familiar. Have we met? [He says, like he would forget a giant, green person who isn't quite the Hulk.]

[He smiles back, surprised but pleased by the excitement. He's definitely not going to mistake this Thor for the one from his world with that smile, though.]

Neither do I, and it's going to help to have someone to spar with. [He hesitates a moment, but- other worlds always get so complicated.] ...No, but one giant green guy looks much like another.

I suppose it would be foolish for me to think that I would only ever know one giant, green guy. [Thor chuckles.]

I fear the gym may not be the most suitable location for us to spar. Do you know of any wide, open spaces?

Luckily there still aren't that many of them, and I'm not a real Hulk.

[Just in case the gamma radiation rage of his predecessor was going to be a worry.]

Not yet. I'm still finding my way around. I suspect the best place is... probably outside the wall.

If you will meet outside the wall, so shall I. [He can't imagine they'd be particularly worried about any threats.] And if you will, I will be ready at your earliest convenience.

I'm not doing much at all here. Tomorrow would work.

[For some reason. He's not sure why he hasn't signed up for one of the wall patrols, but perhaps it's just been a bad time.]

I don't feel like I've been keeping up with being prepared as well as I should have been.
