Consider this a little public service announcement, and my good deed for the day.
[At first it’s just Stephen Strange, looking even more like a magic hobo than he usually does, before he moves the feed to focus on a mini-fridge sitting in the corner of the communal kitchens and wouldn’t be anything to comment on if not for the heavy chains wrapped around it keeping the door shut, or the padlock that really looked like overkill.]
If you see this fridge here, missing its padlock or even worse open and I’m not already there dealing with it? I recommend either finding me, or a flamethrower immediately.
[The mini-fridge, which had been sitting quietly until this point started to shake, the sound of something inside smacking against the door making the chains around it rattle. Stephen came into view just long enough to smack the top of the fridge with the handle of a broom which seemed to startle whatever was inside into silence again.]
It should be in the floor 5 kitchen so if it’s not, even if it’s still locked, you’re going to want to come get me and I’ll deal with it.
And if you value your continued good health don’t eat anything that comes out of this thing.

If you must know it's a specific breed of creature that makes it's home in other dimensions back home. It has a frankly horrific life cycle that you're better off not knowing about, and at this stage all it really wants to do is eat it's millions of siblings to become the biggest and mommy's favorite.
And then it'll eat her too because nature.
Basically if you see something that looks akin to hell-squid with too many eyes, that's probably mine. If it's orange though I have no idea where it came from.

[ Yuri squints closer at his phone, and if he didn't know any better he almost would have thought this guy was pulling his leg. But- things were different enough here that he couldn't say that for sure, and he didn't really want to assume and then be wrong.
So instead he makes a face, tongue rolling out of his mouth as he follows with a 'blugh' noise, nose screwing up in disgust. ]
So how dangerous is it, and can you kill it with anything other than fire.
[ Look he is only one floor below and he would really rather be informed than not against a tentacle hellbeasty. ]

Not without magic. You can however immobilize it pretty much completely by squashing it. It's fairly malleable so anything heavy will do. Then I'd say burn it.
Don't cut bits off though they'll just scamper off and cause all manner of trouble.

Jesus, the bits can't just die like any proper animal? How heavy are we talking, here. Like sit-on-it-and-hope-for-the-best heavy, or home-alone-shenanigans-requiring heavy?
