I've talked about this with a few of you, but I wanted to make a public announcement just in case someone I haven't spoken to yet was interested in going.

I'm going to take a team with me out to the abandoned city to scavenge for a spaceship. If I've talked with you about it before, you're still invited. If I haven't talked to you yet, now's your chance. I'll message everyone soon with a date and time.

I don't have very high expectations for what we'll find out there, so for now, yes. Any kind will do.

Aside from the fact that we're on the moon, what makes you think one will be out there to salvage?

This is a colonized moon. They had to get sentients on here somehow. And I saw a cargo ship drop off supplies the other day.

Right, but in that case wouldn't you be better off finding some kind of... space car dealership?

We're supposed to be in quarantine, so ... no. I've looked into it. Sometimes the only solution is taking matters into your own hands.

Do you know why we're in a quarantine?

I was assuming it was because of all the monsters outside ... but that doesn't seem right, the more I think about it.

Right. So breaking quarantine without knowing why with a spaceship...

[ Doesn't sound like a super well thought out plan. ]

I figure it'd take a long time to get one in anything resembling working order anyway, even if we're lucky enough to find parts and scrap. If we do reach that point, then it would be a conversation I'm willing to have with officials — if we could take it out, how far we could take it out, negotiate the details.

I'm not really up for leaving the city but if you need someone to ask around about likelihood or locations, I could probably scrounge something up.
