I've talked about this with a few of you, but I wanted to make a public announcement just in case someone I haven't spoken to yet was interested in going.

I'm going to take a team with me out to the abandoned city to scavenge for a spaceship. If I've talked with you about it before, you're still invited. If I haven't talked to you yet, now's your chance. I'll message everyone soon with a date and time.

I'd be happy to have you. I'm Poe Dameron, I used to be a pilot back home. Do you have experience with being out in space?

Garrus Vakarian. I worked for C-Sec for years - a space station. The last few years, I've been on a ship called the Normandy. So I'd like to think I have experience, yeah.

You sound plenty experienced to me, buddy. If you want to be part of my team, then yeah, definitely, welcome aboard. I was just trying to gauge your knowledge. There are some of us who come from worlds with space travel, but even between all of us it seems like our worlds were in different places technologically. It's probably better that way, between all of us we'll be prepared for anything.

It makes sense, if you think about it. We all come from different backgrounds, even in the same galaxy. Naturally different peoples are going to prioritize different things in life. Which leads to varying discoveries and tech.

But I'm with you. It should give us an advantage.

Exactly. I'm even willing to take along people who haven't been in space before, so long as they're willing to help. But with a group of us who do have that experience, I think it'll be easier to find what we're looking for in terms of parts.

To a certain degree, yeah. An engineer would be just as helpful too.

Well, yeah, but the problem with that is finding one.
