Hello, hello, you lovely duckies, you. Lucifer, here, and I'm thrilled to be able to share the news that through whatever means that I'm not currently questioning, my bar's wound up being sucked through that lovely portal. Or something. Not too sure on the specifics, but again, not questioning. To anyone who noticed a rather tall building appear, that'd be mine. Well, it is now. Papers signed and everything. Ladies and gentlemen... and others, welcome to Lux.

[There was a moment where he paused and turned the camera around, showing the interior of Quarantine's newest posh bar, then the screen was back on him and his too-pleased smile.]

While I'd love to open it as is, since everything including top shelf alcohol seems to have come through with it, I'm a bit short on staff. And by short I mean completely bereft. So, if anyone's interested in bartending, dancing, or finding another occupation that may be needed here, do please contact me. My new quarters will be in the Penthouse -- which reminds me, there's scads of floors here that are free, so I'm leasing space as well to anyone who's of a need. I'm sure there's a deal to be made for anyone interested.

On other subjects though, congratulations on the building. The Lux, you called it? It seems you'll need a large staff and for that, I wish you the best of luck.

You don't have to. What you choose to believe doesn't matter a whit to me. Plenty back home thought it was all a lark, so you're hardly the first. Believe or don't believe. Doesn't make what is and isn't true suddenly change.

[He'd lived for far too long to be bothered by a child (yes, a child) trying to tell him differently.]

... Yes. Well, I doubt it'll involve luck. There's an age limit, by the by. For visiting or the leasing. So...

[So no, Ciel. No teenagers or children or people that totally weren't kids, but totally were. He had many flaws, which the people that knew him would happily point out. His dislike of children and inability to find a use for them other than as a drain on someone's time an energy was one of them.]

[He waves a hand, dismissive.] And that's perfectly fine, I have no interest. If I live anywhere outside of shared housing, it will be one belonging to me. I have no desire to be dependent on the moods of the owner.

[He had no idea what that meant. Moods of the owner? What, did he think Lucifer would just evict people because he wasn't getting enough cuddles? Rude, Ciel. He gave the younger man a narrowed eyed glare, thumbing at his device.]

[Lucifer just didn't know how to talk to children. It showed. As did his discomfort by the fact he ended the call early.]
