[When Thor switches the camera on, it's momentarily engulfed by his face before he sits himself back. Now that the frame isn't obscured, it's apparent that he's not the only one there. Both Lokis, Angela and Sif sit either side of him, all situated around a booth at some sort of diner.

Thor, naturally, is the first to start talking.]

It has come to light in one way or another that we could be considered Gods. [He's keeping it vague on purpose.] It is true, in a sense, that we are are not unlike higher beings. We are not mortals and we have powers and abilities beyond what many would be considered normal. The myths and the legends, however, are not precisely true.

[He just wanted to clear that up.] As such, we thought it would be prudent to offer our services in times of need. For missions or protections, we can be of use in many situations. You need only ask.

[He says we, but he largely means I.

Angela, for her part, doesn't look as opposed to the idea as she probably could.]

I will add that I will require payment for my services, but that can be negotiated at a later time.

[ She glances around the table at her siblings as if daring them to counter her.

The younger Loki leans into shot, finger raised. ]

Should you require an actual god, we come in that flavour too.

The price depends on what information I am giving out. What is it you desire to know?

I've recently figured something out about myself. Something... heritage-related, I guess. It's been brought to my attention that I can do things I never realized I could before. I want to know more about that thing and what it means, if possible. Asking a god seemed as good a place to start as any.
hevenly: (storm off)

[personal profile] hevenly 2017-07-17 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
If you seek to ask a god, then you should ask my brother, Loki. I am no god, merely an Asgardian who was raised in Heven amongst the Angels rather than with her own kind.

I've asked Loki before. Or one of them, anyhow. He didn't seem to know much about it. I don't know much about Asgardians, but my issue actually involves Heaven and angels. Any information would be useful, given you don't want my soul or body as payment or whatever.

What use would I have for your soul?

[ Thats ridiculous, come on. ]

I will tell you what I can, in exchange for a favor. There will come a time when I have need of you, and then I will come to collect.

[ lbr, it'll probably be to bail her brother out of jail sometime in the future. ]
couldkillthedevil: (Unconvinced)

[personal profile] couldkillthedevil 2017-07-17 10:31 pm (UTC)(link)
No idea. Just putting it out there in case that's one of the true parts of the stories.

[Listen, she's got to be careful. Plus she's partners with the Devil himself. It's important to ask for the fine print. Which is why she sounds just a smidge suspicious at that request.]

Would this favor be of the illegal sort? If not, then I agree to your terms.
hevenly: (trudge)

[personal profile] hevenly 2017-07-17 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Angela has met your devil. Hey had some very strange ideas about Angels. ]

The favor will be whatever it is I need at the time. I cannot guarantee its legality.

[ Laughing quietly to himself because yeah fuck legalities. ]
couldkillthedevil: (Interrogation)

[personal profile] couldkillthedevil 2017-07-17 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
[To be fair, he has strange ideas about everything.]

Doesn't sound like the price really fits for the service I'm requesting, don't you think? Especially when I don't know if you can answer my question or not.
hevenly: (counting)

[personal profile] hevenly 2017-07-19 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
If I give you an answer that is to your satisfaction, you can grant me my favor regardless of legality.

If my answer does not satisfy you, I will restrict myself to legal inquiries only.

[There's a long moment of silence on her end as she considers that. It's not that she wants her to not have the answer, but the out is attractive, if only that it ensures she won't be forced into something for no reason.]

...Fine.

[The feed switches to private.]

Do you know anything about miracle children? Or potential... abilities that they have?
hevenly: (frown)

[ Angela listens carefully, a thoughtful frown crossing her face. Miracle children? ]

I have never heard of such a child in Heven. But then, the Heven I know is different than the Heaven humans speak of on Earth. I know of many reasons why a child might be born with special abilities one might find miraculous, but none that are specific to Angels or Heven.

I see. [She almost sounds disappointed before she speaks again.] What reasons would that be? Like a child being blessed? By a god?
hevenly: (something stinks)

[personal profile] hevenly 2017-07-23 02:45 pm (UTC)(link)
The gods of Asgard are not known for blessing anyone. [ At least, not in Heven's versions of the stories. ]

I meant more the circumstances of their genetic inheritance.

Like someone being born to a god, you mean.

[Sif had also asked that question, though it's not something she feels has any weight.]

As far as I know, both of my parents are normal humans. It's just me that can do what I do.

Then I do not have the answers you seek. If your parents were normal humans, and you are not, then your differences must be some sort of mutation, or something that is unheard of in my universe.
