[When Thor switches the camera on, it's momentarily engulfed by his face before he sits himself back. Now that the frame isn't obscured, it's apparent that he's not the only one there. Both Lokis, Angela and Sif sit either side of him, all situated around a booth at some sort of diner.

Thor, naturally, is the first to start talking.]

It has come to light in one way or another that we could be considered Gods. [He's keeping it vague on purpose.] It is true, in a sense, that we are are not unlike higher beings. We are not mortals and we have powers and abilities beyond what many would be considered normal. The myths and the legends, however, are not precisely true.

[He just wanted to clear that up.] As such, we thought it would be prudent to offer our services in times of need. For missions or protections, we can be of use in many situations. You need only ask.

[He says we, but he largely means I.

Angela, for her part, doesn't look as opposed to the idea as she probably could.]

I will add that I will require payment for my services, but that can be negotiated at a later time.

[ She glances around the table at her siblings as if daring them to counter her.

The younger Loki leans into shot, finger raised. ]

Should you require an actual god, we come in that flavour too.

[ Well. Loki used to, but it was 2012 and it was a phase. ]

Fair. I suppose something of that nature invites unwanted attention.

(Sorry she kind of can't resist poking a bit of fun.) Should I be referring to you differently now, or is 'Loki' still okay?

[ Loki grins. ]

I would not be adverse to a few extra titles.

Well in that case, fill me in. I'd better start practicing now.

I am willing to accept Most High, Most Puissant and Excellent Prince or Serene Highness.

You know, I think I even could combo all three if you're ever feeling particularly magnanimous.

Mmm, the combination doesn't have a very good mouth feel. Perhaps we'll just stick with 'Loki', for now.

[ Loki chuckles, genuinely amused. ]

Does it have any particular meaning? Loki, I mean. Is there a reason why people call you that?

[ He blinks. ]

No. My name has no particular origin. Not that I know of. The Norsemen derived their own versions of it such like Luka.

(Norse... men. What.)

Oh, I– I didn't even think that your use of the name is perhaps the origin itself. Interesting.

Have you been a god of the Norsemen for very long?

There is only one Loki.

[ Except in Riverview where there are . . . two. But the concept of the trickster lies with him. Certainly other cultures have their own variations but there has only always been one and one alone. ]

A century or so. Maybe two.

But there is more than one god.

(She hums, mulling all of this over.)

Okay. So you've been around a long time. Are you creation myth-esque? Religious in nature?

[ It actually takes him a few minutes to think of a response. ]

I had nothing to do with the creation mythos and none of us have been that mindful for worship.

[ Well. Loki liked it, but he recognizes that it's all but dead. ]

(That's cool, she's writing most of this down as it comes to her.)

What are you a god of, then?

Mischief. Chaos and Trickery.

[ Evil too, he imagines, but Loki finds he's not keen on volunteering that much, no matter how much he enjoys Lucretia's thirst for knowledge. ]

Nothing noteworthy, I'm afraid.

(Ironic, because she is literally taking notes about it.)

I'll be the decider of that.

You haven't struck me as a particularly mischievous person so far, Loki.

[ Eventually, the cracks will show. But he grins boyishly. ]

But it depends on the trick and the mood. Being the Trickster means I have a reputation to uphold.

(This makes her chuckle, amused.)

Alright. So from now on I should be wary, is what you're saying?

I'm merely saying it might be wise to keep that in mind.

[ But it's not really a threat and more of a joke. ]

(Yes, thankfully he has that kind of vibe about him.)

[ His amusement is clear as a bell. ]
