[When Thor switches the camera on, it's momentarily engulfed by his face before he sits himself back. Now that the frame isn't obscured, it's apparent that he's not the only one there. Both Lokis, Angela and Sif sit either side of him, all situated around a booth at some sort of diner.

Thor, naturally, is the first to start talking.]

It has come to light in one way or another that we could be considered Gods. [He's keeping it vague on purpose.] It is true, in a sense, that we are are not unlike higher beings. We are not mortals and we have powers and abilities beyond what many would be considered normal. The myths and the legends, however, are not precisely true.

[He just wanted to clear that up.] As such, we thought it would be prudent to offer our services in times of need. For missions or protections, we can be of use in many situations. You need only ask.

[He says we, but he largely means I.

Angela, for her part, doesn't look as opposed to the idea as she probably could.]

I will add that I will require payment for my services, but that can be negotiated at a later time.

[ She glances around the table at her siblings as if daring them to counter her.

The younger Loki leans into shot, finger raised. ]

Should you require an actual god, we come in that flavour too.

Oh? It has come a long way from the realm I once knew.

[A very far way.

But she blinks in surprise, before a soft chuckle arises.]

Aye. I suppose we do all speak in a similar manner.

[scholiast]

Yes, I've been exploring the wider planar system for the last thirty years or so, on a ship. (Something occurs to her, then.) How do you travel between 'realms'? Do you have a ship as well?

(She chuckles, too.) Yes, it's– uh, amusing. Have you been at Quarantine for long?

[toopolite]

Our travel? We use the Bifrost Bridge. [Or at least now that it is fixed again.] It is an interstellar portal that allows instantaneous travel.

[scholiast]

Huh.

(A bridge that allows travel? Sounds... fake.) You simply... walk across it? Or is it metaphorical.

[toopolite]

One could walk, although it might take some time. I prefer to ride. Of course, Heimdall also has to allow you access, or nothing will happen.

[scholiast]

Oh, of course.

(There's a shuffling sound as she slowly writes down the word Heimdall, and circles it twice.)

And you can truly go anywhere via this method?

[toopolite]

I haven't. [As that is a lot of places to go.] But Heimdall is allseeing and allhearing.

[scholiast]

... Why? That seems wasteful.

(All that convenience, right at your fingertips– and to hardly use it?)

[toopolite]

It is not something that is as easy as snapping your fingers. When needed, we use it. Although I am not an explorer either. I do not mind seeing new places, but my duty is to Asgard.

[scholiast]

Oh, sure.

(She doesn't agree, but there doesn't seem to be any point in arguing any further.) What duties do you have in Asgard?

[toopolite]

I'm a warrior. Whatever may arise and I am sent to deal with. Otherwise, I protect Asgard from any threats.

[scholiast]

How heroic.

... Is it threatened often? (Hopefully not!)

[toopolite]

Now and then, although for the longest of times, the threats were relatively minor.

[scholiast]

That's good to hear.

How... uh, out of curiousity, how would a large scale threat be handled? Does your plane have sufficient defenses for that kind of thing?

[toopolite]

It depends upon what the attack is.

[Given recent events...]

But our realm does not always stand alone.

[scholiast]

(How does she keep asking questions here without directing alluding to the thing she's thinking about? Hmmm.)

Well, it– I mean, if you were cut off... from other places entirely, would you be able to survive on your own merits?

[toopolite]

Aye. We do have technology that we can use, and there are many warriors upon Asgard.

[Although they might still take a beating...]

[scholiast]

(Lucretia is unconvinced, but relents.)

Alright. Well, that's good to know. Is Asgard the only place you protect?

[toopolite]

I am of Asgard, but aye, the protection does go beyond that.

[scholiast]

That's very good of you.

(Lucretia loves asking questions, but she does have enough awareness to try and cap her curiousity.) Look I– you've been kind, to answer all of this but I should probably let you go.

[toopolite]

[Her smile does come, easily enough. It is clear that she is not the sort of person to hold back, and had she truly had any issues, she would have made them known.]

Think nothing of it. It is not as if you asked for the weaknesses in our defences. I may well have taken offense to that line of questioning. Yet, if you do have more, you need only ask after me.

[scholiast]

That definitely would have set off a couple alarm bells, huh.

(She chuckles.)

Thank you... (and trails off. Oops, she doesn't even know this woman's name.)

[toopolite]

[A light chuckle was given.]

Aye. It would have indeed, although it seems that unless you are of my galaxy, there is little that you could do with that information. Yet, it shall still be kept close.

[And right. Thor, in his eagerness, never did introduce them all, nor did she give her name before he posted.]

The Lady Sif, of Asgard quite obviously.

[scholiast]

The Lady Sif, (she echoes; the name makes her smile. It seems quite regal, to her.)

Hail and well met. My name is Lucretia, of the Starblaster. (She's kidding about that last part, she just wanted to play along.)
