If there is anyone here who knows of the man named Jacob Kane, I would like to know his whereabouts as I've found something of his that I would like to return.

[He looks down briefly and something starts making almost angry hissing sounds, but it's muffled by something.]

[ a brother of Kane? nico's interest is immediately pinged. he recalls cain's strange aura, the way the man could see his own strange lifespan, and the way he seemed connected to the romans. all of which makes nico curious about this new arrival and if he's somehow similar.

[ This actually takes a few moments to come on. As soon as his shadow disappeared, Cain was waiting to see if Abel would track him down and appear in his usual way. When that didn't happen, he grabbed his device and... well, he saw this.

Now his hand is shaking a little because it was a brief separation period, but they'd only been together again briefly, too. Easy to emotionally distance from when he was on his own again so quickly. Abel is here now, and Cain isn't alone, and he has to take a few breaths and steady himself. Get a grip. He plays the message twice (sucking in a breath at the stupid username) before responding. ]

What are you doing to my Reaper?

[Oh there he is. There is a slight frown on his face as he looks at the camera.]

Currently, I am stepping on it as it is not behaving as a Reaper should. I would like to return it because it is being obnoxious.

Then you are a friend of his then? [There's some sad hissing from off screen before he speaks again.] I have his shadow or more specifically the being that makes up his shadow that will one day kill him.

She can't tell if the hissing is from his feed or not; she's craning her head a little as she talks, as if this will help her see off screen.)

[Abel actually rolls his eyes at the realization over their names. He actually hates the whole Cain and Abel thing because for one, Cain didn't kill him.]

If you are thinking what most people do, then I would like to share that our pasts do not follow the story of Cain and Abel. I am referred to as Abel due to being the oldest dead man. I prefer to be called Cerberus. I call my brother ruva Ruma because I will not be a part of whatever he believes.

Interesting would be a good word to describe my brother, yes. Headstrong works as well.
