[ Loki casts an illusion first to anyone nearby who could be watching before casting the spell to transport the three of them back to Taako's apartment. ]

[Not having to actually physically travel anywhere is a huge relief, and Taako's posture loosens a lot, once they're back somewhere he considers safe. He wonders if Lucretia is still here, or if she's been and gone already.

He decides not to find out.

Instead, he casts a quick glance at Lup:]

Gimme like, two seconds, and then you can yell at me.

[Those two seconds are to talk to Loki; Taako takes Loki's arm to gently guide him out of the room. He's not sure what he's going to say, really, but he waits until they're out of earshot, anyway.]

Thanks for that, sweetheart, don't think I could spend another second in that place.

[ Loki shakes his head. He can understand why and he hardly did much. Certainly Loki would feel the same way with others hovering around, waiting and watching to see what happens next. Like a crowd of vultures. ]

It is of no consequence. Shall I depart?

[ He will ask Taako but Loki can afford patience. He's not going to comb Taako for details right now, not when whatever took place is raw and wounded. ]

[That was going to be Taako's next question, and he's relieved when Loki brings it up first.]

If that's cool? I think... [he casts a glance back to where he left Lup.] I gotta fix this one and that shit might take a while.

I understand.

[ Better than most. He readies his spell for departure, but Loki adds all the same. ]

Let me know if you need something.

[Taako nods, but he also reaches out to give Loki's arm a quick, brief squeeze. It's not enough, to say thank you, but maybe it's a start.]

I'll call you.

[And with that, he steps back, giving Loki room to leave.]

[ He nods, accepting that with a serene calm that normally doesn't punctuate Loki's moods. He steps back, disappearing from sight. ]
