Ah, to be young and alive! Breathe in the air, enjoy the scenery, get to know the people...
Let me tell you a little philosophy...
[The young man in the video — he's such a character in hair alone (what on earth is going on with it) — sits in his rented hospital wheelchair in his simple apartment space on floor 14 (needs a little work, he thinks, not nearly enough reading material or flashy bits). In one hand, he's got some silly romance novel that's clearly forgotten, and he looks a bit weary, a bit hollowed out from battles not yet mentioned, but he's clearly so very jazzed about the opportunity to be here in Riverview. After all, he'd thought he'd be a dead man, and though he's hardly out of the woods entirely, he has more time to keep going! More time to really go the extra mile -- literally! Ahahahaha!
Oh, yes, the philosophy. Ehem.
At this point, his mouth is moving a mile a minute.]

That's the fun of travel, and there's no better travel than hopping worlds; think about it...! Of all the universes and all the galaxies, you were extended a hand to this place — a one in a trillion chance, perhaps more, to be among the stars! Or perhaps to shoot across time and space like one...! More time to chase after longevity, to meet records, to dash down the sin of sloth. We all have the right to free will! Free will to fall in love, to learn and grow and develop new and interesting hobbies and ideas and concepts of what it is to be our own individual self; individuality is key! [He's balancing on one wheelchair wheel, spinning in a circle. Stop him. STOP HIM.] But what's the point of all that if you're too slow to get around to it, huh?! Don't let yourself hold you back!! If you want something, reach for it, so you know what that means—?!
[He stops. Drops back onto all his wheels, so tickled.]
Anyone interested in wheelchair racing?
[Sometimes (most times) he just can't help himself.]

action already ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well, Karamatsu's buttons are very easy to push, especially when somebody is trying to out-cool him! (well, he thinks he is, anyway.. Cougar probably doesn't care.)
And he isn't exactly strong, but let's say he's more.. tough— he can't say no to somebody who wants to "show you a thing or two" anyway. It takes him awhile, probably because he's anxious, but he makes sure to wear his tough guy clothes. You know, leather jacket, gold chain.. his belt buckle had a skull on it? It was more ridiculous than intimidating, anyway.
Once he reaches the top, he sees Cougar but double takes the other way, trying to act nonchalant. Dammit, rooftops were his thing!]
Oi, I don't know what things you wanna show me, but don't waste my time!
[ ooooOOooOooh how scaaaaaAAAAaarrry. ]
ffs karamatsu
Didn't I already see you today?
[He wheels back and forth in a rocking motion, and then in a circle, like he can't really help himself when he's sitting in a seat with wheels beneath him. Ah! He snaps his fingers, sounding sure of himself:]
Otakumatsu!
no subject
His spine jolts when he snaps his finger and calls him that. What? ]
What the hell is a Otakumatsu!?
[ His voice is a little bit deeper than Osomatsu's.. and his eyebrows look thicker, but otherwise they are very similar. ]
You probably saw one of my brothers.. tch. They all want to be like me!
[ NOT TRUE. ]
What are you doing up here? Ah.. it can be dangerous!
1/2
[Now he's just stroking his chin in thought.]
Brothers! That makes sense. You're way more uptight than the other one, though.

You still wanna burn some rubber? Better time than any to do a little driving.
no subject
I don't see anything around here we could burn rubber with.. like a convertible, or maybe even a motorcycle.
[ He's got a big image in his mind. ]
1/2
No imagination at all...! It's a shame, a real shame.
Lesson number one, Otakumatsu —
no subject
If you limit yourself, you're no better than a common thug!
1.3
2.3
3.3
OI, WHO ARE YOU CALLING A COMMON THUG!?
1/2
I don't see what breaking your own glasses does for you, Oishimatsu.
[THOSE POOR GLASSES.]

[He extends a hand, sitting patiently in his wheelchair. A handshake?]
C'mon, let's test that bravery. Your brother already proved himself.
How about that drive?
no subject
.. Which brother? Osomatsu?
I will do much better than him!
[ then he gives him a firm handshake. ]
1/3
Alright then...!
[A strange glow appears around them, psychadelic in coloring, and...
Did Karamatsu's shattered glasses just evaporate?]
no subject
Well, the wheelchair is suddenly a small two-passenger car of sorts. Rockets fill out on the back of it, and a windshield forms in front of Cougar and his inexplicable gear stick. Gear stick? For a wheelchair, yes. He glances over, adjusting glasses on his face.]
You really should have kept those! They looked nice on you.
[A grin.]

[AND SUDDENLY THEY GO DRIVING OFF THE EDGE OF THE BUILDING, LEAPING FROM ROOF TO ROOF AND BOUNDING OVER VERY LARGE AND LONG GAPING SPACES BETWEEN ALL THE STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OH GOD OH GOD THEY DRIVE DOWN THE SIDE OF A VERY TALL BUILDING AND THEN FALL ONTO THE LINE OF A SKYTRAM AND THE METER READS 160 MILES PER HOUR AS THEY NARROWLY EVADE THE TRAM AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-]
WOOOHOOOOOO, YEAAAAAH!!!
LET'S GOOOOO!!!
after a solid month, i can't believe karamatsu is dead
[ OH MY GOD WHAT IS HAPPENING. He feels himself pulled into a car seat of sorts, strapped in, yelled at, and then catapulted across the rooftops.
THE ROOF TOPS. WAY UP HIGH. THERE IS NO SIGN OF STOPPING. JUST LET HIM DIE ALREADY. ]
no subject
S-S-STOP! STOP IT! THIS IS TOO MUCH!! AAAHHHH!!!!!
1/2
HEY HEY HEY, YOU'RE LOOKING A LITTLE GREEEEEEN AHAHAHAHA-
no subject
But really. You need a bucket or something?
Try not to turn the upholstery, here.
[Cougar, it all deteriorates later anyway.]
