Hello, kind citizens! Okay, listen, I noticed something tragic about Riverview and this is what it is: we are hugely lacking in the sports department. You know, like, intramural type shit? Sorry, stuff. Intramural type stuff. Anyway. I, Magnus Burnsides, aim to change this. Not to brag or anything but I do have some experience coaching a sportsball team, so I figured: why not put my experience to good use? Who wants to play sports with me?

I want this thing to be a community effort. If you know how to play sports, come coach a team! Doesn’t matter what the sport is! If you don’t know anything about sports but you’re curious, come learn with us! It’s not about being good—it’s about doing the sports! I want people of all ages, people of all sports backgrounds. Also, maybe, someone who’s good at organizing stuff because I’m not very good at that. Anyway, let me know what you think! If anyone’s down to help out, send me a message!

You got it, my dude! One wrestling lesson for one boxing lesson.

I kinda come from a lot of different places so I've seen a lot of different sports, but the ones I'm most familiar with are wrestling and this one called Rebound. And racing, I guess. I think racing is pretty standard across universes.

Racing is definitely pretty standard. Tell me about Rebound? Sounds interesting!

Every time I try to explain Rebound, I'm told it's like a weird combo of football and basketball. I don't know what either of those things are, but I bet if you do you'll get the point. Except football seems like, really violent sometimes? Rebound is very non-violent.

I know football and basketball, actually, and that is quite the combination. Football can definitely be violent, though basketball is generally no contact. I'm guessing Rebound is no-contact too?

You should seriously teach me to play it too. It would be more interesting than running, that's for sure.

Nah, there's contact, it's just, like, really strict about it. It's kind of hard to understand unless you can see it. I could probably teach you! At least, I'll do my best. Seeing as I'm the only one around here who nkows the game it might be a little tough, but I'll be damned if I don't try!

Huh. I'm definitely interested in learning. Then there'd be two of us and maybe we could work on building up a team. Thoughts?

Hell yeah! Let's do it! I'm in talks to get something started at one of the community centers right now, so I'll totally let you know if we start an actual team. Until then, if you wanna get together to talk sports, just let me know!
