[ some of you might have seen this username on the network before. she isn't a stranger to responding to other people's messages, nor to holding private conversation but as for addressing the entire network, well. this is certainly a first time.

peggy carter is in her office in the riverview police force. it's a slow afternoon, which is the only reason for this little message, really. ]

They're really quite attached to their celebrations aren't they. If I have to secure another event, be it a dance ball, a speed dating evening or anything that involves ribbons, glitter, gifts and large, outdoor parties, I fear I may have to file a complaint. Honestly now, this is getting out hand.

[ no one needs this amount of cheer, surely. ]

More importantly, I am searching for someone who might understand a thing or two about what makes these little devices tick.

I mean, I'm not going to claim that I'd rather be dealing with drunk idiots than murderers, but it's still a total pain.

Oh, cool. I could probably teach you a little bit about functions and stuff, but if you want to really get a good lesson on what's going on inside it, my boyfriend could help. Do you know Cisco Ramon? He goes by @ciscodelamancha on here.

[Abruptly, he realizes he really clearly said that, and she's his coworker, and he goes extremely pink in an extremely short period of time. But he's grinning.]

Yeah. For a few months now. Of course you know him, and of course he taught you how to take a selfie.

[A little laugh.]

He's a total genius with technology, and he's great at putting it in layman's terms if tech's not your forté. If he could make this stuff make sense to me, he can definitely teach you.

Oh come now, you're better at this than me. You've had some previous experience, at the very least.

[ but it's said with a similar grin, ]

Just a bit. I have to admit, I was never really into the electronic gadgets and all that. They didn't make a lot of sense to me. But I've gotten pretty decent at smartphones since I got here. I could show you a thing or two.

they're not particularly smart if they tend to call people out of the blue if one sits on them by accident.

Well, I mean...smart is subjective. In our line of work, that much is pretty obvious.
