[ the last time she graced the network with her presence, diana of themyscira explored the wonder of food emojis. now, however, she decides to take a more traditional approach — face-to-face, well, as much as she can over these devices. while she still prefers to meet in person, this will suffice for now. what can she say, she's old fashioned like that. ]

Thanksgiving.

[ she speaks the word softly, almost contemplative, though diana offers a bright smile into the camera. ]

Back home, we had many reasons to be thankful, and we did not limit the occasion to one day. Still, family and friends. [ her smile widens. ] That is something to celebrate.

What other — [ a careful pause, her nose wrinkling a bit. ] "holidays" are there?

It's my birthday! But that's not the only reason to celebrate.

[ He pauses to wiggle his eyebrows in an attempt to make her laugh if the joke didn't. He's lame, we're so sorry. ]

It's a celebration of two heavenly lovers finally able to be together in the sky after a whooole year apart! BUT! [ finger up!! ] If the weather is bad, the lovers can't see each other, so everyone prays for good weather for them. There's a festival and everything but the main celebration is writing your wish on a piece of paper

[ He's miming this whole process ]

And tying it to some bamboo or a tree and it will come true! There's a lot more to it, it varies depending on your region, but that's the main part.

Don't you have holidays? Or things to celebrate?
