Not balls, but I've been tit deep in a blizzard fighting aliens and trying not to die, so. Can relate.

But- I've also, ya know, had fun in snow. Snowball fights, snow forts, snowmen? C'mon Frank, don't you remember fun? Wait, no I get it! You just know you'd lose at snowball fights, huh? It's okay, if it snows, I promise to try to take it a little easy on you. Maybe.

From what I understand, the holidays are supposed to be more about people than things. But snowmen are people- it counts.

It is more the feeling snow provides. When it is so cold, you feel closer to your family. Homes are cozy.

I don't have a wheelchair back home. Only my arms to get me around. So you try dragging yourself through snowdrifts taller than your head and see how much you still like the stuff.

I mean, fair. But still. I had a busted up leg and was shot in my gut and crawled through snow- and I still love it.

[Sure, it was just one mission that had been that bad. But still. She was crawling and leaving a trail of blood in the snow. She ended up passing out more than once during that trek, eventually got hauled up by some teammates that found her and returned to the e-vac. But her point stands! She was incapacitated and hardly able to crawl through the snow, but she still loved it. Totally the same thing, right?]

The jungle isn't bad, I enjoy it as much as any other jungle I've been to. But good god, I miss snow and cold
