[Undertaker pops on screen, looking like his usual self. Smiles all around, hair veiling his eyes, dark though not black clothing. He has mastered the phone-thing as of some time ago, but he hasn't had any real reason to need to use it until now.]

[Now, he has a message.]

I understand there's to be a special holiday coming up around these parts. Hygge, it's called. They say it's about family and friends, whoever you might be.

[He shrugs, grinning a little more, and though it might look wild on him, it's not entirely unfriendly.] So here's what I'd like to do. Some of you know me from the little cafe on the corner, some of you don't at all. If or not we've ever met and you feel so inclined, I've a kitchen in my house what needs using and a want to make all the hot cocoa we can handle. Stop on by and I'll welcome you to a cup of it.

[He has directions for the house, if anyone needs it. Then, with a tip of his hat, Undertaker ends the feed, leaving the invitation open to any who might take it.]

[Not about the acceptance into a family of sorts, but the gift? He reaches up, below the view, and rubs at a certain spot on his chest where the skin has long since healed.]

Ah, milord, you don't have to give me anything. You are alive and well and that's all I care for.

[sweetlies]

I know but I want to.

[It's strange, even for him, to want to give out gifts. He'd done so for his servants, technically, Mey-Rin's glasses and Finny's cap and book but those serve him as well as them. This? Not so much.]

It makes me happy to do this.

[somakemelaugh]

[That takes the fight right out of him.]

Who would I be to tell you to stop if it pleases you? Knock yourself out, then.

I'm glad to hear that. I'd still do it, mind you, but it's nice to have approval.

[somakemelaugh]

[This isn't over. You haven't seen his birthday gift to you yet.]

Did you think you would need approval? Really, I must know.

[sweetlies]

[Birthday? What birthday. Lalala~]

Not at all, it's just nice to have. You would have gotten a gift anyway.

Father is getting one too.

[somakemelaugh]

[What birthday indeed.]

Oh? What will his look like?

[sweetlies]

It's a Bitter Rabbit. I don't know if you were back in London to see the Phantom Five but we were selling custom ones to look like the performers.

I thought I'd make father one of his own with it's own suit.

[somakemelaugh]

[He may have been around during that time and just not cared for the concert.]

That would be nice for him. Will it have his beauty mark and all?

[sweetlies]

[That's alright, Ciel was trying to appeal to large groups of people, after all.]

Of course, it could be anyone in a suit otherwise.

[somakemelaugh]

[Better to do his thing in private while Ciel was distracted elsewhere.]

Oh, he will love that. How do you plan on giving it to him?

[sweetlies]

[And he was very distracted.]

Maybe while we're all together, relaxing. Before or after we have our company, whatever time seems right.

[somakemelaugh]

Very good. Although, I'm not quite sure if or when we'll be having company. I only made the invitation out to anyone who wanted hot cocoa. Maybe I ought to put a sign on our door.

[He grins.]

[sweetlies]

I thought I might invite a few people. Jason, Doctor Crusher, Jon, and Laura. You and father are already there so my two most important family members are already accounted for.

[And he just smiles, so softly.]

[somakemelaugh]

[That smile.]

You invite whoever you feel you want there, milord. And I do promise to behave around Doctor Crusher. I think I've managed to warm her up to me just a little since our first meeting.

[sweetlies]

I'm glad to hear that. Both that you'll behave and that she's warming up to you.

[He laughs softly.]

I'm hoping to invite them tomorrow, if that's alright.

[somakemelaugh]

No, go on with it. I've no plans other than to make drinks all evening when needed.

[And that's it, really, aside from entertainment when necessary.]

[sweetlies]

You're supposed to be enjoying yourself too, remember.

[He won't let Undertaker be relegated into a job that's close to being a servant.

[somakemelaugh]

Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. I have my ways.

[Servant? Oh no. Host? Any time. Just like old days back home in the parlor, serving guests tea from beakers and bone shaped cookies from urns.]

[sweetlies]

[He might intervene if he sees cocoa in beakers. At least while they have company.]

I'll try not to but I'll keep my eye on you. [Haha, get it?

... he's not good at this.]

[somakemelaugh]

[He doesn't own any anyway. Not yet.]

[And he catches the jest.]

If you must. Just don't put Albert away in a closet. I'd be okay with it if he went in our room if he starts to bother your guests.

[sweetlies]

[He grins a little. Almost proud of his... pun?]

I wouldn't dream of it. I imagine few people would be surprised, knowing us.

[somakemelaugh]

[Young grasshopper learn well.]

That will be good. I'll try to see that he's dressed for the occasion, at least, but you know how he is.

[Someone's a 'bad' influence on him.]

It doesn't have to be fancy, at least. If it's a holiday for family, we shouldn't have to put on airs. Not even Albert.
