[Damian stares down his ...social worker... as she speaks. The woman explains the room, his bi-weekly stipend, the works. Still, Damian stares her down with a burning intensity that just screams 'I am displeased. Go. away. No mask, no Robin gear, just a pissed off teenager in a hoodie.

Clearing her throat nervously, she does leave and that's why Damian takes in his room. It didn't matter what the room looked like really, Damian wasn't having this communal living nonsense. He sees the extra beds in the room and ...that is just too many roommates. This is was 24-hour surveillance and he was not having that.

He frowns down at the device and switches it on. Have an annoyed looking ... 10-year-old? (No, he's 13 dammit, don't just assume things from his small stature!) glaring down at the camera.]

This communal living thing is not happening. What's the price range for houses or private apartments around here?

[ Jon rolls his eyes. ]

You usually just break in! I'm not used to hosting you!

Hey, you're the one that invited me over this time!

[Okay, that's not true. He invited himself to move in... but still Jon, sheesh, didn't mommy teach you better?]

[ He sighs. ]

Your room's up the stairs.

[He rolls his eyes and takes Jon's wrist to lead the way upstairs. Come show him which room, Not-so-Super Host.]

[ How enthusiastic. Jon lets Damian drag him up the stairs. Once they're on the top floor, Jon points out Damian's old room. ]

There. We haven't really touched it.

[To be out of communal living? Thrilled. He heads to the room, still dragging Jon with him and Anne trailing behind them.]

Good, you shouldn't touch my stuff when I'm not here anyway.

[ Jon pokes him. ]

That's what you do.

That's retcon. Doesn’t count. Besides you are usually there when I do it.

[It's not really breaking in if you are just staring at him climb through your window Jon.]

[Pokes his cheek, something else Jon could stop, but it's okay Jon. He knows how empty your world would be if his didn't break in now and again.

He spots the game system on the floor. He was gonna search the room for supplies, but why not have a little fu--Training first.]

[ Jon immediately perks up. ]

Yeah! I got some good games now. People have been helping me buy some.

[Damian watches Kent from his peripheral, seeing him perk up at the offer and nods, acting like he didn't notice the switch from melancholy to happy.]

Get out the best one. I'll see how your coordination is compared to the "you" I know back home. [He takes a seat by the game station and looks over his controller.]

[ He dives for his controller, setting himself up for a Kirby game. ]

You really think you can deliver?

[Damian bumped Jon's side and started running the level. At one point with a smirk Damian sucks Jon's character up into Kirby's mouth, then goes to spit him out over the levels edge.]

Hm, now where's that butt kicking, Jon?

[He sticks his tongue out in concentration, holding his controller away in case Jon tries to stop him.]

[ Jon expertly does a jump back to the cliff, pulling Meta Knight up and slashing at Kirby with his sword. ]

I'm not beaten yet!

[Damian smirks even if Kent doesn't fall into his trap.]

Someone hasn't been doing anything but playing video games while I was gone.

[He goads, dodging with his character and elbowing Jon in the side playfully.]

[ Jon jabs his finger at Damian's side. ]

I'm the mentee. You're supposed to be mentoring me. It's not my fault.

[Oh, Kent... poor sweet Kent... you have no clue what you've just admitted to, do you? Regardless, it is very nice to hear you admit this and you will likely regret it later.]

[He suddenly pokes at Jon's sides and stomach. According to his assessments, this was your tickle spot, wasn't it? Here, he will now school you in the art of distraction.]

[ ldhfdflhgkfdg, Jon flails, his arms moving wildly. ]

H-Hey, that's cheating!

[Yep, that's the spot.]

[Poke, poke, tickle. Gonna slap your character off the platform now. Don't mind him. You just keep flailing Jonny boy.]

[ Jon gives him a half-hearted glare, swatting Damian's arm away. ]

It's the thing you're doing right now. How's that supposed to help, huh?

[Damian relents when Jon starts to swat.]

I was checking your resistance to distraction. [Said in a dead serious tone, but he might have a faint smirk.]

You failed by the way.

[ Dryly. ]

Oh no. I lost because my enemies might tickle me to death.

[sonofab]

No, I'm sure they'd do much worse, Kent. If you can't even handle a tickle, how are you going to handle an alien monster trying to take your face off?

[Because that's a thing, Jon.]

I'm pretty sure if any alien came this close, they'd lose their fingers.
