What an advanced sounding future you must come from. I only wish I could be able to see it. Science that cannot be separated from magic... that's something that interests me greatly.

I wonder if it really is that? It would make sense. Their medical technology is fairly advanced here, as well.

The idea of a multiverse, sure, he's read scientific theories and it checks out. Aliens, maybe, though there's no proof for them. But elves? That's some straight-up Tolkien nonsense and he's not about to get pranked on his first day here. ]

[ No idea what a movie is... good god he really is on another planet. As for the difference she outlines between magic and technology, it sounds logical enough to him. It's easiest for him to imagine magic as nothing more than very, very advanced science - so far advanced that even the people using it might not understand the laws behind it. But there have to be laws - because there always are. ]

When he thinks about metahumans, and breaches to other earths, and all the other crazy stuff that's happened in the last few years... it probably would seem like magic to anyone not in the middle of it like he is. ]

i don't know, that sounds to me like one of those things that's fun in theory but in practice it would be terrifying. also i forgot to say is there are different mushrooms that make you shrink down to the size of a mouse, and no thanks to that.
