It's about a group of characters who travel between parallel universes through a wormhole.

what sorts of worlds do they generally end up traveling to?

Usually where history had gone differently. I didn't keep up with the show.

It reminded me of the Portal here that's connected to many other worlds.

just a little before i got brought here, a guy showed up where i work, saying he was from an alternate earth.

we were kinda skeptical but it looks like multiverse theory is now officially #confirmed

i'm the emergency services r&d lead

which basically means i'm an engineer designing fancy gear for the perimeter guard and police and firefighters. which is not super different from what i did back home.

Was that gear to protect them from hostile metahumans and aliens, by any chance?

[ Yes, he's coming straight out with it. Clark set the conversation to the private option before sending it. ]

The S.T.A.R. Labs on my world is heavily involved in researching a crashed alien ship in Metropolis. They won't tell us much.

(unless you count area 51)

also s.t.a.r. labs where i'm from is down to about... two people. so the government isn't about to give us a ring if martians decide to drop in.

and i don't know what you've been told but it's not like all metas are bad. just the ones who use their powers to hurt people and steal shit.
