Of course they can. It doesn't matter how you're born. What matters is what you end up becoming.

(It's a little hypocritical coming from Noctis and the role he was born to play, but he fully believes it for everyone else.)

you seem quite confident in that assessment. i take it you've never had any trouble with the issue?

I never said it was easy. I have a role to play back at home. I could run from it, just leave everything behind, but I choose to stay. If people weren't born into that role but want to help, then they can help. Like I said, that kind of stuff doesn't matter.

what would happen if you didn't choose to stay? would anyone come for you if you just decided to run?

Yeah, a lot of people. A whole lot of them, probably, and they'd be disappointed. That's not why I stay.

Because it's something only I can do, and I want it to be done. Even when it's hard, it's better than I'd feel if I ran from it.

I don't know who you are, but I can't really keep giving general information and have it help. Can you just say more? I do think people can change things, it doesn't matter who you were born as.
