[Lyle is sitting on the floor of his communal floor, which lets face, he's currently the only resident of so its more like a private floor at the moment. There's probably the biggest grin people may have seen on his face in... ever here]

So I got the best surprise first thing in the morning. I've been wondering if I'd see him again and he's finally here.

[He glances over to the side]

Hey, come back over here. I know this is new.

[There's a pause and he's shifting his phone so he can still have it on him as he hefts a round orange robot into his lap, about the size of a basketball]

This is Haro. He helps with piloting my mobile suit back home. Say hello, Haro.

Haro! Haro!

[The "ear flaps" wave and the eyes flash]

Who? Who?

Who are we saying hello to? The people on the network. They can see us on the phone.

[And Haro rotates a bit under its own power as though its trying to look at the phone]

[It wasn't much later that Lyle showed up at the cafe. In order to open the door, he had to tuck Haro under one arm, but the Haro didn't really seem to care. He moved Haro back into his hands once he was through the door. As he walked in, he whistled almost as if he was trying to get attention]

[that whistle causes several baristas to look up. and one of the girls makes a comment that Osomatsu's date has returned.

Osomatsu comes barreling out of the backroom, laughing nervously and telling the girl to get Lyle a coffee. then he moves around the counter]

Hey! [that was so embarrassing] You made it!

[holds_up_walls]

[Okay, he wasn't planning for that, but it did get a grin out of him when the barista made that comment. It was even more amusing how quickly Osomatsu came tearing out of the backroom, quickly trying to distract them from focusing on Lyle... at least somewhat]

Yep. And I brought my friend. Osomatsu, this is Haro. Haro, this is Osomatsu.

Haro! Haro!

[The haro flapped again]

[Lyle keeps referring to Haro as his friend, but he's a robot... but that's really awesome! all kids want robot friends]

Nice t'meet you, Haro! How do you like Riverview?

[Well, when a robot helps keep you alive on a near daily basis and can talk to you, its easy to consider it a friend]

Nice to meet! Haven't seen! Haven't seen!

We're still working on that part.

[Osomatsu is so impressed that it can talk and hold a conversation! Haro is like a really cool pet... but it's not a pet. it's a robot! he turns his attention to Lyle again]

So cool! How'd you get 'im? Did you have to pay money?

He came through the portal and just showed up at my front door. I didn't have to pay anything for him.

Shop?

[Lyle glanced down at Haro] Coffee shop.

Coffee! Coffee!

[relieable]

[Haro came through the portal... huh! for free! that's really cool. Osomatsu wants to get one, too]

Oh, right.

[he turns towards the counter, where there are two coffees waiting for him. he turns and offers one to Lyle and Haro]

Coffee!

Coffee.

[Lyle chuckles at the interesting timing of Haro declaring that right as the coffees were ready. He reached over to take the coffee from Osomatsu]

Kanpai.

[He's learning]

[Osomatsu laughs! he's glad Lyle remembered]

Kanpai! [then he drinks... augh! too hot! don't worry, he's okay. ahem. after waving on his tongue, as though that would help, he turns to the two again] You gonna show him around?

[Lyle couldn't help a snicker. Sorry Osomatsu. Haro though, started to flap, maybe in some weird attempt to try and help because when Lyle stopped so did Haro]

Yeah, I was going to do that. Care to join? If you are off now.

[he looks at the clock, then back to Lyle with a nod]

Yeah, I'd love to! Lemme just take care of a few things, then we can go!

Sounds good. We'll hang out here a few minutes.

[With that Lyle headed over to a chair, sitting down and setting Haro down in the chair next to him. The robot settled in as Lyle started drinking his coffee. Yep, Haro was definitely moving on his own]
