a highlander is an immortal who has to fight OTHER immortals to the death so that he can gain their powers
and every highlander who kills another highlander levels up so he's even MORE powerful the more highlanders he kills
and they've got to fight each other to the death until there's only ONE HIGHLANDER LEFT STANDING
but the only way to kill a highlander is to cut off their head
it's SUCH an awesome movie
