video @L.Mills
[The video turns on to show Lucy in her room, and trying hard to keep a straight face because....things happened. Good things that is.
Trying to be positive, trying to be optimistic, but also being cautious....]
So....is it normal for things to randomly appear? I mean not 'falling out of the sky' random, but 'appearing out of thin air' random? There is a difference between the two.
Because, I just got something--well two somethings, and I'm not sure if it's real or if anything happened or if it's just magic.

[ And being too close to Victor would definitely increase her chances of catching the virus. ]
Lucy, I know you want to help, and I will ask you when I need it, but when you're pushing like this, you're not helping. What you are doing right now isn't nothing, believe me. This is a tough situation but I just... I need you to trust us to take care of this. I need you to trust me. Please.

[She isn't trying to be difficult, and she knows she's pushing, but she can't help it. Lucy wants to do something--anything to help.]
Of course I trust you--I haven't had any doubts about that. [If she were older this wouldn't be a problem. Even though she is mature and responsible for her age--she's still a kid.]
But what if you get sick? Then what happens?

[ She may not be trying, but she's definitely being difficult. Rather than helping, she's just making things worse. But she's also a kid, who's worried and most likely scared about this virus and how it's affecting Victor, so he's trying really hard to be patient and understanding.
Doesn't help he doesn't have a lot of practice with kids. ]
Then I'll go to the hospital too, and we'll find someone you trust who can look after you until either or both of us are back on our feet. [ He sighs. ] Lucy, please. You're not helping. Just do what I'm asking you.

But then Victor would hear it, and it won't help him recover.]
...Fine.
[She'll do what he said, and if he gets sick, she will not be shipped off to someone else.]

[ His shoulders drop a little. He knows she's upset at him now, but honestly he'd rather have her upset at him, than exposed to unnecessary risk. She'd forgive him eventually, he's sure of that. ]
I'll be home with dinner in a bit. [ He hesitates a moment. ] If you want, we can take John for his walk together, and talk about what other ways you can help. Alright?

[Because she doesn't want to keep talking about this. It's upsetting enough and it was starting to feel like Jim would only give her tasks to distract rather than actually taking care of Victor.
He wanted her to do her chores and take care of things around the house, he's getting what he wants.]

[ His shoulders slump a little. He can't blame her for being upset at him, he would be too were their roles reversed. Reminds him of when his mom used to tell him he'd understand once he was grown up too. Boy, was she right.
For now he'll just be glad that she's not sick. And if she doesn't get sick while the virus is making the rounds all over the Quarantine, then this will have been worth it. ]
Alright, then I'll see you later. Be careful, Lucy. I will be, too.
