I seemed to have misplaced my slave priest. Since he belongs to me, if anyone could return him, I'd be most grateful. He's a little under six feet tall, black hair, blue eyes, and has a magic sword. Answers to the name Bishop Heahmund.

[Heahmund had stormed off in a huff after Ivar had found him the first time, but if he thinks the teenage Viking warlord who captured him back home is done with tormenting him, the priest is far from mistaken. Ivar's just getting started.]

He'll likely be quoting the Bible and telling you all how you're going to hell because he's extremely pompous and seems to think being a Christian bishop makes him better than everyone else. Be sure to let him know I'm looking for him.

I definitely didn't keep him around because I thought he'd be obedient or good at following orders.

[Like any good psychopath, Ivar saw people as tools or toys. Heahmund definitely fell into the latter category with how much Ivar liked to play around with him. Besides, the good bishop had his own sadistic streak even if he didn't want to admit it.]

Still, he's a great warrior, and can make decent conversation when he's not going on and on about the Word of God every two minutes.

[He definitely sees Heahmund as such, an dog not obedient, but at least entertaining. He loves making the priest do what he wants, whether that's religious discussions, or watching him wreck carnage on the battlefield.]

He fights when I tell him to and that's good enough for me.

I'm guessing some people weren't happy about the 'slave' thing. Most earths are well past the owning people stage. Still, interesting your culture still has it.

I'm from a lot farther back in time then most people who come from Earth. It's a common practice back in 818.

Yes. It's much harder to run when one is chained up. And the collar makes him easy to identify.
