[There's a muffled and pained groan, one of a boy who has made terrible mistakes and is suffering horribly for it.
... And also a clear sound of someone sliding out of a bed and thumping on the floor — blankets and all, legs barely hanging onto the lip of the mattress.]

... I'm wishing I missed my adventures... Eating sounds like a nightmare...

I mean, I'm told. I guess I'm just lucky... hangovers haven't lasted that long for me.

[Because honestly, keeping secret the fact that he's also Hulkling is a bit... difficult. Especially when he's comfortable being giant and green a lot more often nowadays.]
The trade off is though... I have a really high alcohol tolerance. It takes forever to get that drunk.

Does this have to do with... uuuh. How you acted in the cult place?
I mean. You know. You said you dealt with stuff like that, and — they had you in a collar, so I figured... maybe...
[Maybe he had some ability he wasn't aware of, anyway.]

[Teddy pauses at that, brows furrowed. He's not-- going to freak out or anything, but honestly, Peter's caught him a little off guard with that.]
How did you know about that? I don't remember seeing you there...
[He's really sure he didn't actually.]
It does. Um, I guess now's a good time to tell you that I'm not human exactly... in a very literal sense. I'm an alien hybrid, not that I knew it until I was sixteen or so. It comes with certain abilities. Increased strength, healing factor, shapeshifting. I didn't mention it when we first met because-- well. Some people sort of freak out.

[Okay, but this guy is an alien hybrid. He's with Billy, who mentioned the Young Avengers. And Tommy, who mentioned Quicksilver and mutants. And Loki is Loki, so there's that. Also, they all hung out with Mr. Dr. Strange.]

But he lets out a sigh and gives a nod.]

[Hang on, he's adjusting his camera little as he starts to shift into his green form, moving it away to accommodate the additional size.]
I'm part of them as Hulkling. I promise it's not actual Hulking out though, so don't freak.

Don't worry. I don't think you can die of a hangover. But you might want to. Just how much did you drink exactly?

It was all, uh... really sweet and fruity... I dunno. I was hoping maybe my weird metabolism worked on alcohol? Like Captain America...? That was a bad thing to test out.

I don't think I've ever been actually... drunk until I came here. I had drinks back home, but being an alien hybrid gives you a weird tolerance for things, I guess. It was an adventure to find out what works.

[So sayeth his massive headache. He presses his palms to his eyes.

Patrol is gonna be the worst tonight.

[He arches a brow though. Patrol, really?]
Uh-- sure you should be going out tonight? Or at least alone. I'm going out anyway...

... You wanna help with patrol?
[That's not even something he remotely considered, the idea of someone hanging out and helping him with crime or whatever else happens. He does a lot that isn't even crime-related, hah. Like. Getting groceries for someone, or saving them from a burning house, or rescuing their overeager dog from the river.
Night time is pretty much all trouble, for the most part.
People just get weird and impulsive and assholish at night.]

[And sometimes company is nice during it -- even when the most exciting thing that happens is saving a cat from a tree or something...]
Only if you want though. I know some people like to go solo.
