Video; Sleep Deprivation

[The video shows Ivar looking a little rumpled, the look of someone who has been trying to sleep and can't. He's cleaning out grime from under his fingernails with one of his knives as he speaks and it occasionally flashes into view.

Oddly enough, he's smiling, his eyes just a little too bright. It's not a happy smile. When Ivar gets angry, sometimes, he smiles in a way that says he's going to rip your throat out with his teeth if you get too close. His tone sounds oddly cheerful as he speaks.]

To whoever is making that horrible racket that's keeping me awake, you have two options. Stop it. [Then his voice goes dark and furious.] Or I'll stop it. Trust me when I say my way will be a lot more unpleasant. [He never stops smiling even as he turns off the video.]

Gee, thanks. I'm not taking this from someone who could pass for a girl if his hair was three inches longer. [Pause.] An ugly girl.

[It was nice to have someone around he could insult who didn't take it so personally. Ivar only did this to people he actually cared about.]

It's a tempting offer. [No, Ivar. Bad Ivar. Don't start setting off firecrackers in an enclosed space.]

You're just jealous I'm better looking than you'll ever be. [ And Yuri honestly punctuates this with a hair flip, and a smirk. Ivar was quickly becoming one of Yuri's favourite people in Riverview, for the simple fact that they could banter like this. ]

If it keeps up, they deserve it.

You know, I knew you were stupid, but I didn't realize you were blind as well. Such a shame to have so many hardships in your life.

[It's why he likes Yuri as well. He gave it as good as he got and didn't turn into a whiny mess over it.]

If they don't stop within the next five minutes, bring them up.

[ Yuri snorted, and shot back- ] Says the one who cracks every mirror he tries to smile at. Get back to me when you have fifty thousand fans screaming about how attractive you are; then we can talk. [ He may be exaggerating just a little, but Ivar doesn't know that. ]

You'll have to let me know if they stop, I can't hear it from my floor.

[ragnarsson]

Are you sure they weren't screaming at you, not for you? [He smirks. Yuri walked right into that one. If nothing else, this is getting his mind off not being able to sleep.]

Trust me asswipe, I know how to tell the difference. Keep that up and I'll be happy to add to your noise problem. Shove a firecracker in your bed and see how much fun you have with that. [ He wouldn't, and Ivar knows it. He talks big and he's more than happy to push the other around as much as Ivar pushes him, but they're at a place of familiarity where Yuri doesn't actually want to hurt him. ]

You know, I didn't exactly hear a no to my question. So I will just have to assume the answer is yes. [He could keep this up all night. And with the noise currently not abating, he might have to.]

Try it. You'll wake up to a knife at your throat and me being the one holding it. [He wish he could say he was joking but...well, this is what Yuri got for being friends with a psychopath.]

If you're too stupid to infer the answer to your question then that's your problem. Feel free to just keep living in your fantasy world where you think you're superior; have fun with that. [ Yuri rolled his eyes, but there was the ghost of a curve to his lips, the vaguest hint of a smirk that he was only narrowly suppressing. ]

It's cute that you think you could sneak up on me. Keep dreaming Ivar.

I don't think I'm superior. I already know. It's amusing that you keep your illusions in place, but I guess to face the facts would be too much for your feeble mind. [Just look at that smug expression on Ivar's face. He's enjoying himself thoroughly now.]

You know, the last time someone thought that, I ended up killing about six people just to prove a point. [No exaggeration there either as he casually talks about slaughtering enough people to count on both hands with. His crazy is really starting to show again.] One would be no problem.
