[The video opens on a rather ecstatic looking face, the Devil seemingly pleased beyond all measure as he stands in what appears to be an abandoned club.]

Hello, hello, you lovely duckies, you. Lucifer, here, and I'm thrilled to be able to share the news that through whatever means that I'm not currently questioning, my bar's wound up being sucked through that lovely portal. Or something. Not too sure on the specifics, but again, not questioning. To anyone who noticed a rather tall building appear, that'd be mine. Well, it is now. Papers signed and everything. Ladies and gentlemen... and others, welcome to Lux.

[There was a moment where he paused and turned the camera around, showing the interior of Quarantine's newest posh bar, then the screen was back on him and his too-pleased smile.]

While I'd love to open it as is, since everything including top shelf alcohol seems to have come through with it, I'm a bit short on staff. And by short I mean completely bereft. So, if anyone's interested in bartending, dancing, or finding another occupation that may be needed here, do please contact me. My new quarters will be in the Penthouse -- which reminds me, there's scads of floors here that are free, so I'm leasing space as well to anyone who's of a need. I'm sure there's a deal to be made for anyone interested.

[She blinks, momentarily unsure of what he's referring to (and perhaps distracted by his lips and teeth teasing at her hand).]

What, you mean the piano?

Mm. I have quite a few fantasies involving you and this piano. I'll save the more prurient version for upstairs, but hearing you play? I'd like that, too.

Ah.

[She glances back down at the keys before shaking her head.]

Nothing except what we've already played together. I don't remember a lot from those lessons I took, so I'm not great at it.

Perhaps that's something we can change here as well. If you're interested...

You-- want to teach me to play? Really?

Only if you'd like to learn. I'm hardly going to nail you down to the bench and force you to.

[She's never been a star piano player. Music hadn't been her gift. And while she's never been a bad student, her general lack of interest had prevented her from keeping up with it. After she quit and the years went on, she just forgot. Use it or lose it and all.

But she is admittedly intrigued at the idea of him teaching her. And perhaps a lot of that is mainly the idea of spending more time with him.]

I wouldn't mind giving it a try. I think I could pick up on the basics quickly enough if I had a refresher, but everything else is a blur.

[His smile was that wicked one she might well be familiar with, Lucifer reaching over, around her, to pick her up and set her on his very naked lap.]

No time like the present.

Hey, come on--

[She nudges him with her elbow, but doesn't seem overly bothered. Her eyes do keep flickering back and forth between him and the door, though, brow arching.]

At least put a robe on first. What happened to saving the impropriety for upstairs?

Ah, ah. That's not what I said at all. I said I'd save the more prurient desire of spreading you out on the piano for me to feast on while I played for upstairs. Not naughtiness in general. Honestly, Chloe.

Oh, well, excuse me for glossing over that crucial detail.

[A huff, followed by a brief pinch at his thigh.]

Robe. Then I'll play with you.

How about--

[His hands moved around her, fitting over the keys as he nibbled at the nape of her neck. Slowly, he started to play a soft, playful tune, not bothering to see where the keys were as he knew them rather intimately by now.]

I play for you.

Always have to be a show-off, don't you?

[He's good, though; she's always known that. Watching the way his fingers glided over the keys and how he played so effortlessly is a sight in its own right.

Realizing he's set on this, she relaxes against him.]

Alright, alright, Piano Man.

Yes.

[He felt her lean back against him, breathing into her hair as he started to play 'Tiny Dancer', nuzzling a kiss along her head.]

I love the back and forth, but I'm finding a special kind of pleasure in you capitulating to me sometimes. Just when I expect you to say no, you surprise me.

[She recognizes the song, of course, listening to him for a few moments before tilting her head so she can speak directly to him.]

It's got nothing to do with capitulating when I genuinely enjoy spending time with you. I don't say no just for the sake of saying no.

Don't you? You can't tell me that of all the time we spent together, there weren't some times you said no just because you loved the idea of leaving me with a pain in my nethers.

[His voice was low and quiet, stubble brushing over he cheek as he kissed her jaw.]

Mmm, true. But you also can't tell me you didn't deserve some of that. Especially because you fell for it every single time.

[Honestly, Lucifer. She'd done it how many times and he still hadn't caught on until the last possible moment. She tilts her head to brush her lips over the fluttering pulse in his neck before she turns back to watching him play, and then the rest of the room.]

I still can't believe this ended up here. It's almost a little too convenient. [A beat.] It's nice, though. That you've got a little piece of home.

Just because I was hopeful that you'd return my interest doesn't mean I deserve it.

[Hmph. But it's hard to stay offended when she was giving him feather-light kisses that had him smiling as he continued to play.]

Oh, don't you start in with it. I've already had to deal with people being overly suspicious about the timing of it and the good fortune. I'd like to just enjoy it while it lasts. Even if it's only for a moment or two. It's home. Well, more home than Hell was. And I've got you here as well. What's not to like, love?

Sorry. I'm not trying to rain on your parade, it's just weird. I haven't heard of the portal just spitting out entire buildings for their owners to find. I'm happy for you, though. I know how much you love this place. Though I'm afraid I don't have a contact here to make it a landmark again.

[His love of the place is why he fought so hard to keep it in LA, after all. And why she'd done her best to get his home back. She can't help but smile when he includes her in there with his 'good fortune'.]

So, you're planning on leasing out parts of the building then, right? What about when you hire staff? You planning on having some huge opening party?

[He hummed, changing the tune to 'Fields of Gold'. He could be remarkably well-behaved when he wanted to be, given that he was nude with her on his lap at the moment, he thought he was doing quite well.]

I was thinking of it, yes. Gave someone a tour earlier and I believe he'll take a floor for himself. He's into magic. Came in here through some sparkly gold little portal. It was quite fascinating. I think you'd like him. But, of course, I'll have to have a huge opening party. I just need to find all the bodies to fill their spots here and an appropriate theme for it. I'll have to check with someone local about any upcoming holidays or whatnot, like the one they just had. See if I can work it into it, mm?

Will you be here?

[She would agree, though the night is still young.]

Magic, huh? I've seen a few people around that seem to have that kind of ability. There's some research facility nearby that specializes in magic and sometimes you can see people practicing on the roof. Kind of fun to watch, actually. Maybe you should have some kind of theme with that, if you're mainly attracting those kinds of tenants.

[A pause as she thinks about him putting on a show like that. Hopefully Lux doesn't burn to the ground in the aftermath.] Hm? For your party? Of course.

There's an idea. A night of many worlds, or something to that effect. Well played, darling.

[A kiss to the side of her head, and he kept his hands dancing over the keys.]

There's no 'of course' about it. I don't want to assume. Just because I desperately want you to be there doesn't mean I always get my way.

I'm sure you'd have plenty of people who'd love to participate, whatever gimmick you come up with.

[Really, the possibilities were endless. So many people from so many different worlds-- she can picture him having the time of his life mingling with all types.

She places another kiss at his jaw at that comment.]

Yes, Lucifer, I'd love to come to your opening party. It sounds like fun, and it's important to you. That's enough reason for me.

It's lovely to see you have so much faith in me.

[Okay, that was a double sided meaning, but he couldn't help himself, really. And then he got another kiss and he smiled.]

The owner's booth is always open to you, Detective.

Of course I do. You've always been there for me.

[She picks up on the double-meaning but speaks plainly anyway. And the few times he wasn't there for her, well... they've both been through a lot. And she'd like to believe they've come out stronger for it.]

Ah, that's right. You'll be moving out of communal housing, won't you?
