[When Thor switches the camera on, it's momentarily engulfed by his face before he sits himself back. Now that the frame isn't obscured, it's apparent that he's not the only one there. Both Lokis, Angela and Sif sit either side of him, all situated around a booth at some sort of diner.

Thor, naturally, is the first to start talking.]

It has come to light in one way or another that we could be considered Gods. [He's keeping it vague on purpose.] It is true, in a sense, that we are are not unlike higher beings. We are not mortals and we have powers and abilities beyond what many would be considered normal. The myths and the legends, however, are not precisely true.

[He just wanted to clear that up.] As such, we thought it would be prudent to offer our services in times of need. For missions or protections, we can be of use in many situations. You need only ask.

[He says we, but he largely means I.

Angela, for her part, doesn't look as opposed to the idea as she probably could.]

I will add that I will require payment for my services, but that can be negotiated at a later time.

[ She glances around the table at her siblings as if daring them to counter her.

The younger Loki leans into shot, finger raised. ]

Should you require an actual god, we come in that flavour too.

[ Like the Milano was "our" ship, right? ]

[ Excuse you, the Milano was his ship. Which goes to show just how easily he'll claim ownership over his things. ]

A room. That we're sharing.

[ Because calling it "our room" has some weird, fiddly implications, and they still have yet to broach that particular topic. A public network isn't the place to do it. ]

[ Gamora clearly doesn't see why there would be implications because if it's a mutually shared room, that should be an "our." That makes perfect sense.

And considering she and the others had lived on the Milano, that makes it an "our" ship.

Definitely still going to refer to it that way.

Which is why: ]

If it is not your room and not my room, but something that we share, that should make it our room, should it not? Unless you plan on leaving it at some point in the near future.

[ Obviously, that's how this works. ]

[ A pause, then, lightly, ]

You almost sound like you're worried I might bail on you.

[godslay]

I'm not worried.

[ Why would she be worried? That's absurd. ]

[nostalgiabomb]

[ A beat, then, ]

You're totally worried.

[godslay]

What did I just say?

[ Clearly, Peter needs to get his hearing checked. ]

[nostalgiabomb]

I heard you.

[ Or at least, he heard what she didn't say, or at least what he thinks she didn't say. Which absolutely means he could just be deluded, which is a high possibility, given it's Peter Quill. ]

Just so you know, I was joking, earlier. About the moving thing. I do that sometimes, you know? Make jokes.

[ She doesn't miss a beat with, ]

If it was a joke, shouldn't it have been funny?

[ And his voice practically carries the shrug, even without the benefit of the visual. ]

Humor's relative.

[ And the way she rolls her eyes is almost equally audible. ]

It doesn't count if you are the only one who's amused.

It absolutely counts. How else am I supposed to keep "out of trouble" if I'm not figuring out ways to keep myself entertained?

[ ... Actually, she'll give him that much. He does tend to get into things when he has nothing better to do. ]

You could do the dishes.

[ Speaking of Roommate Things. ]

[ There's a lengthy breath of silence from Peter's end, then— ]
