Hey, so.
Does anyone want to hang out and maybe build this cool lego replica of a medieval castle?
( That sound you hear? Definitely a box of legos he's shaking around. )
Or - I found a few different cleaning products that when mixed together can make some pretty awesome reactions? We can go mix them together, see what happens? Don't worry! I've got safety equipment and all that, promise.
Or we could do whatever. I'm easy.
( He just misses Ned and Aunt Mayand Happy's voice mail already, you know? )

You sound twelve and have you accounted for the universal differences in the chemicals or even the possibility of residuals in the air from the recent acid rain before deciding to mix things together?
[He pauses for a brief moment before continuing.]
Grades mean nothing beyond you were able to do what the teacher wanted from you, which doesn't mean much in the actual world.

Actually- I just turned sixteen. And I have! I mean, I might have missed one or two, but it's why I made sure not to get anything too dangerous just in case. I don't know the exact chemical make-up of the recent acid rain, so I guess that could be a problem?
( He sees why it might be dangerous now, okay. )
That was a bad example. I have a recipe for synthetic spider webbing I've made. I'm on the third version, actually. Or fourth now, since I'm missing a few ingredients here. But Mr. Stark thinks it's pretty well made! ( That counts for something, right? )

Sixteen. [Sigh, children.] At least you learned before you attempted to mix any chemicals together.
[He does have to stop for a moment because he can connect the dots between synthetic spider webbing and Stark and can't stop himself from groaning and pinching the bridge of his nose.]
I'm sure you'll figure it out, if you're anything like the menace I know from my world.

His train of thought shifts entirely, and the other will probably hear the noticeable spike of curiosity in his voice. )
Wait, so you know me? Or not me, exactly, but another me? Do I know you?
