Hey, so.
Does anyone want to hang out and maybe build this cool lego replica of a medieval castle?
( That sound you hear? Definitely a box of legos he's shaking around. )
Or - I found a few different cleaning products that when mixed together can make some pretty awesome reactions? We can go mix them together, see what happens? Don't worry! I've got safety equipment and all that, promise.
Or we could do whatever. I'm easy.
( He just misses Ned and Aunt Mayand Happy's voice mail already, you know? )

...your idea of fun is creating potentially harmful chemical reactions with cleaning agents. Right. Okay, that seems like a great idea.
[ look, he is using video so you get the full force of his unimpressed face. bad baby spider, bad.]
How about you stick to Lego. Or, you know, come help me in the lab, assuming you are some version of Peter Parker.
[ perma-video!! ]
The face he makes when the feed turns on is definitely one that's excited, even if he's trying hard not to smile or, you know, be weird. He's working on it, promise. )
Yeah. I mean, why not? I know what kind reactions they'll make, and I made sure not to pick anything that'll explode. ( A pause. Okay, he's kind of lying. ) Much.
( He perks up slightly at the mention of a lab, and he definitely can't hide that smile. )
Dude, that'd be awesome!! But yeah, I'm Peter Parker. Or well, one of them, I guess? You're another Mr. Stark, right? ( Another totally awesome, super smart Tony Stark. What more could he ask for?? )

You need an adult. And by an adult, I mean anyone who isn't named Tony Stark.

Makes sense! I'll remember that. But yeah, if you want some explosions, I can help with that! At least, small ones.

Okay but can you just. Try your hardest not to blow yourself up? I'm pretty sure your aunt will find a way to reach through space and time to kill me.
[ perma-video!! ]
Yeah, I promise I won't! Most of it is pretty harmless. Think putting mentos in some soda!
( He tilts his head. )
Hey, Mr. Stark, I made a new formula for my synthetic webbing. You think you could take a look at it for me? I couldn't find one of the ingredients I needed in the chemistry class at the school here, so I had to improvise.

You should stick with the legos instead of the chemicals since you sound far too young to be playing with the latter.
[ perma-video ]
Only it doesn't.)I'm not that young. I've been playing with chemicals for a while, actually. It's not too dangerous as long as you what you're mixing. And I have a perfect grade in AP Chemistry. I think I'm okay.

How cool of a medieval castle are we talking?
asking the important questions, peter
Oh uh. ( There's a rattling sound, and it's clear that Peter is picking up the box to examine it to be sure he gives this guy a fair assessment. )
I'd say like a six. It's pretty big, and it has kind of a Dracula's castle meets Disney princess vibe? Lots of towers and windows!
lego quality is nothing to scoff at, peter

[ It's only a voice message, but he's guessing from the enthusiasm and also the cavalier attitude towards safety that this is probably a kid. But Cisco remembers being a dorky, lonely kid who just wanted to do science and had no friends to speak of, so he's more than happy to offer: ]
How about instead of accidentally poisoning ourselves we just make a robot or something?
[ Yes, as far as Cisco is concerned, building a robot is both a simple and normal past time. Obviously. How did other people pass the time when they were growing up? ]
no subject
( A pause. He's about to argue that he's not going to blow himself up or poison himself, okay, but. This guy mentions making a robot.
That's more important. )
What, really? We can make a robot? Do you have the tools for us to do that? Because I would love to do that!

They're like, small plastic building blocks. They come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, and you can make all kinds of stuff with them! Sometimes they come in custom sets like the one I found where you're supposed to make something specific like a Castle or house or something.
Do they not have legos where you're from? They're pretty popular back on my earth.

Peter, do not mix cleaning products together, especially ones you're finding around here. They might not work the same way you're used to. Things are different here.
[ He gave a pause and then sighed. ]
The legos, though, that's a better bonding experience. Maybe some board games and popcorn.

Yeah, you're right. I'll do some more research before I do anything, Captain!
( Probably not what Steve meant, but hey. At least he's being even more safe about it. )
Right? Legos are awesome! I used to build a bunch of them with my best friend Ned back home. It won't be the same without him, but I'm sure it'll still be fun.

( He actually has a good idea of what kind of places or times that might be, but seriously, you guys are missing out. )
They could, but I mean. I was hoping to see some other reactions. Maybe some boiling, evaporating, cooling, or solidifying. Nothing crazy.
