( Okay, so another Mr. Stark told him about the multiple universe thing, and that username and face are definitely another Mr. Stark.

The face he makes when the feed turns on is definitely one that's excited, even if he's trying hard not to smile or, you know, be weird. He's working on it, promise. )

Yeah. I mean, why not? I know what kind reactions they'll make, and I made sure not to pick anything that'll explode. ( A pause. Okay, he's kind of lying. ) Much.

( He perks up slightly at the mention of a lab, and he definitely can't hide that smile. )

Dude, that'd be awesome!! But yeah, I'm Peter Parker. Or well, one of them, I guess? You're another Mr. Stark, right? ( Another totally awesome, super smart Tony Stark. What more could he ask for?? )

Uh huh. And if you have failed to accommodate potential differentiations in this universes physics and molecular structure of cleaning supplies and the one you are used to? How about we leave the small explosions to Bucky and you stick to technology that doesn't involve potential mustard gas.

I think I prefer you calling me just Tony. Please. Though I suppose it would be less weird if you called me mom than when the other Peter did what with you being actually a child and all.

Maybe not a full understanding, but I have one. I've been taking notes and reading up on stuff. There aren't too many noticeable differences, but the acid rain thing a few days was a pretty gnarly step up from back home.

( Peter gives him a look, curious and a bit unsure what Tony means. )

Did another me call you "mom"? Do you want me to call you that?

( And that's definitely Peter suddenly missing from the feed, but no doubt Tony can hear him in the background scrambling to find his shoes. ) Yeah, okay! I'll be right over. ( That's half of his face in the feed. ) Do you want me to bring anything Mr-- I mean, Tony?

[ oh dear god, you are just-- Tony rubs his hands over his face and tries his damnest not to laugh, but it is kind of difficult when faced with-- well, Peter.]

Uh huh, something like that. And no, no I don't, ever thank you. That was... well just no. [ too many memories there, too much to dig up that Tony would like kept at rest. ]
