Or - I found a few different cleaning products that when mixed together can make some pretty awesome reactions? We can go mix them together, see what happens? Don't worry! I've got safety equipment and all that, promise.

( He just misses Ned and Aunt May and Happy's voice mail already, you know? )

[Thom is vaguely confused when the vocal feed turns private.] Like ammo? You're not like... a killer or something are you? [Except realistically speaking Thom has no idea who uses webbing to kill people but he kind of assumed the worst when Peter went private.]

Really? 'Cause that would probably be helpful... if I ever go finish High School. What happens if I'm here in the quarantine for a while? I don't wanna go back to high school when I'm like twenty-six.

[Thom hums at the question, a sharp intake of breath the only indication he had an answer to that.] Not if I touch you while you step on it!

​What? No no no! I'm kind of a... ( He struggles to find the right words. Is it even okay for him to tell other people? It's not like they're back home. )

A superhero? With spider powers?

( Okay, that's not as cool as it sounded in his head. )

You know, I hadn't thought of that. Maybe it'll be like going to college or a university, and you just have to show people you have a high school diploma. The school here has to give us those, right? ( Lots of questions to be asking here, suddenly.

But more importantly-- ) What, really? You can do that? Stop pain? Because dude, that is awesome!

[At the word superhero Thom lets out a little gasp, the words tumbling from his mouth before he has the chance to stop them.] Oh my god, you're a superhero? Me too! [He sounded pretty damn excited about the idea of having found another superhero.] You have spider powers? I've met a lot of superheroes in my life and I don't think I've ever met anyone with spider powers.

[Thom makes a noise that vaguely equates to I don't know.] I guess they have to? But I don't know if we're covered for high schools that are within the quarantine zone of some secret moon no-one knows about? [He was from the alternate version of New York though where superheroes roamed the streets on the daily though, so who knew.]

I can! Same as your spider powers. I've got magical healing hands! [He sounds pleased with himself for once as he says it.]

( Thom's confession helps him relax in a way he hadn't been expecting. And his excitement definitely encourages Peter's own. )

Yeah! I can climb on walls and everything. It's pretty cool sometimes. ( Except the way his senses always seem to be in overdrive or that that he has to hide it from people and lie to his aunt. )

Okay, I can see your point. I hadn't really thought about it like that.

( The explanation makes him laugh. Healing hands is definitely an interesting name for his powers. )

I'm kind of jealous. I wish I had healing powers sometimes. ( Like after that time he got in a fight with Captain America and the Falcon and Winter Solider... ) Can you do anything else?

Really? Wow that is cool! [To Thom pretty much anything about superheroes was cool but the enthusiastic way the other boy talked about these things actually made it pretty easy to get lost in that little cycle of excitement.] Do you come with a cool name too? [Thom didn't have a cool superhero name and he was forever bitter about it.]

Yeah like... something tells me they're not gonna give us a transcript. [Which was exactly why the idea of life here was so weird to think about. How did they reincorporate back into the real world when all was said and done.]

Really? Psh- [Thom makes the noise, the universal symbol for sarcastic disbelief.] No-ones jealous of healing powers. [The young hero let's out a little sigh though.] You have no idea how many times I've been asked that question- the answers no. I can't shoot laser beams out of my hands when I'm done healing, or pick up a car, nothing like that.
