BB-8 is fine as far as I'm aware. I'm guessing Taako turned Poe into a bird, because he offered and Poe took it.

Poe...loves flying, so while I shouldn't be surprised he'd pull a stunt like this...I am.

[ Bill will switch to audio as well, laughing uproariously. ]

Why am I not surprised Taako is to blame! That's brilliant.

[ WITH A MIX OF EXASPERATION AND AMUSEMENT: ] Thank you.

What was it like? Tell me everything.

Amazing. It was amazing. [ That's the 'everything' part, anyway. ] You ever get going really fast, where the wind is in your face, just hard enough that you're starting to squint but it feels like just a little faster and you could leave the whole world behind?

I've never gone that fast, but it sounds amazing.

[ She wonders if it would feel something like what she felt when Heather showed her the universe. ]

It was better. It was going that much faster. It wasn't just being in the sky, it was being part of it.

Are you a pilot, then?

[ A chuckle. ] What could possibly have given that away?

[ Then, because the addendum is needed here: ] Starfighters, mostly. But I can fly anything.

That's brilliant. I can't even fly the one spaceship I have.

[ She probably shouldn't have let that slip after being so cautious about the TARDIS earlier, but she's so amused she doesn't think. ]

[ It doesn't take much of a leap to connect the blue box to that statement. ]

That thing is a spaceship? How do you see? Where are the external sensors? Does it even have shielding?

Bill stammers, internally chiding herself for letting her worst kept secret slip. ]

Erm... Yes? It does? [ At least she thinks it does. It has a force field around it that can support life even in a vaccuum. That's a sort of shielding, right? ]

I'm from the same world as Poe, different planet. I'm from Jakku.

[ Considering Bill doesn't actually know where Poe is from, Bill is excited to hear Rey is from another planet. ]

I've never heard of a planet called Jakku. Is it far from Earth?

I don't know? I've never heard of Earth. Jakku is a mid-rim planet, possibly close to the outer rim. I need to look on a star chart again.

You said I sound English...what does that mean?

[ Bill assumes Rey is either from incredibly far in the future to have never heard of Earth, or she's from a universe like Lucretia, where Earth doesn't exist. ]

It just means your accent sounds like you're from England. That's the country on Earth that I come from.

[It could be either or. To Cassina and Jyn, Rey was from the future, whereas..she could be in the past? Who knows.]

I have an accent? [Really, it was never brought up. Everyone just speaks differently and it's never been brought up before.] I had no idea, no one's ever brought it to my attention before.

Well, yeah. You sound like me. Whereas Poe and Taako sound different. They have closer to an American accent.

The others do sound differently, but never thought of why or where they came from. Big galaxy with too many star systems to name.

Wow, so humans are really spread out in your universe then? That's exciting. For me, we're just on Earth in my time, but we go colonize other planets in the future.

Yes? Humans do live on other planets, be it because they were born there or they decided to make a home there.

That's good. I've heard for some worlds, the idea of space travel doesn't exist. A shame, really. The galaxy has so many worlds and planets to it. It would be an adventure to see all of them.
