[Damian stares down his ...social worker... as she speaks. The woman explains the room, his bi-weekly stipend, the works. Still, Damian stares her down with a burning intensity that just screams 'I am displeased. Go. away. No mask, no Robin gear, just a pissed off teenager in a hoodie.

Clearing her throat nervously, she does leave and that's why Damian takes in his room. It didn't matter what the room looked like really, Damian wasn't having this communal living nonsense. He sees the extra beds in the room and ...that is just too many roommates. This is was 24-hour surveillance and he was not having that.

He frowns down at the device and switches it on. Have an annoyed looking ... 10-year-old? (No, he's 13 dammit, don't just assume things from his small stature!) glaring down at the camera.]

This communal living thing is not happening. What's the price range for houses or private apartments around here?

It was-- [Did Jon really just forget that stuff? Damian wasn't sure he wanted to talk about it again if he did. He is quiet for a moment then shakes his head.] Nothing. Never mind, point is, your flying sucks.

[ Blame continuity. Either way, that's weird. Damian never passes up the opportunity to tell Jon something he doesn't know. ]

[ They finally land at the Kent House, which allows Jon to put Damian down gingerly before staring at him incredulously. ]

EXACTLY! [Damian barks out then rubs his temples.]

Going to school together would be cool though. That way, you won't have to pretend to be my teacher slash bus driver.

[ Jon gives him a flat look. ]

[ Jon sighs, fishing for his key before unlocking the door. Annie perks up and bounds down the stairs. He smiles. ]

[Damain blinks, looking curious.]

That's Annie. She's a war kite from Krypton.

Where'd you get her? [Last he checked krypton was...well gone. So what was a creature from there doing here? Damian crouches down for a closer look.]

We didn't. She just kinda showed up on our doorstep a few months back and we decided to keep her.

[sonofab]

And no one questioned how a creature from an extinct planet just... shows up on your door?

[...Supers... He reaches a hand out for her to sniff.]

Not really. No one knows Krypton and there are tons of weird creatures all over the place.

[He meant you or your dad. He knows no one besides them would know what Krypton is... ugh, Supers, but he lets it go because...]
