informal poll for you guys. if you had to choose, is this place more like:

a) fantasia, from the neverending story
b) oz, from the wizard of oz
c) wherever the hell it was with the muppets and stuff, from labyrinth
d) wonderland, from alice in wonderland

[ The question might seem like a frivolous one, but the answers should actually be pretty informative, and it's way more fun than just asking people to describe what this place is really like. ]

You'd be right.

It's about a group of characters who travel between parallel universes through a wormhole.

You could've just asked the question you really wanna ask.

[He has a high wisdom and intelligence modifier, good for those insight checks.]

Someone introduced me to two of those movies, he's from Earth. Wasn't that much of a stab in the dark to guess that's where you're from, too.

[A little bit of a white lie; Clark was on Earth, technically, but he's not exactly "from" it.]

If I had to take a guess based just on what I've seen with the ongoing festival, I would have to say d. It's something of a wonderland, with magic that no one can explain. I already want to start a mad tea party for everyone to attend, fufu. ♪

Do we get to vote for other places we've been? I'm afraid I'm too new to this moon to have a firm opinion.

I mean, the festivals are definitely Mad Hatter level - classic storybook Mad Hatter, not the Mad Hatter I know, thank god - but I think there's some shading of option C as well. I never actually watched option A because the neverending bit kind of terrified me.

Haven't come across any Oz parts yet, but I'll let you know when I get sparkly red shoes and yellow bricks to skip on.

i'm a little disappointed in the lack of sci fi representation.

[ He was right there with y'all on the pop culture references and making light of circumstances that are stranger than fiction, up until he had a glance over someone's theory that this might be an elaborate, uh, breeding program. Yikes.

Joke's on somebody; in some cases, a resounding lack of interest isn't the only hurdle, but sheer incompatibility. Feeling rather let off the hook, he's glad to consider this Not His Problem and get back to the real point of reading this:

Besides, uh, scoping out how many of these guys might actually be humans from his own world, and who are from somewhere a bit far outside the planetary post code.

That's more exciting than anything else. ]

*Chandra is doing better at this whole camera thing, more of her face is in view as she answers in video because text seems so informal.*

I have no idea what those places are, have you really been to all of them?

*Chandra doesn't really get fiction, that involves reading and she doesn't do a lot of that.*
