[ It starts with a blank screen and cheerful booping that anyone who has met BB-8 will recognize, with muffled conversation in the background.

BB-8 is working on something. The screen flickers from blackness to brief color, goes dark again, then abruptly displays the following image: ]



[ Yes, it is Poe Dameron, standing nobly above a motif of X-wings, over the word "RESISTANCE" and below the words "WATCHING OVER THE SKIES AND STARS."

The background conversation stops. Poe's voice comes through clearly: ] Bee, what are you--BB-8, take that down right now.

[ Annnnnd the image vanishes. ]

Consider me inspired. Now you have me, reel me in. What am I signing up for, here?

[ Poe's mood clearly shifts. Cavalier to serious, sarcastic to proud. ]

The Resistance, led by General Leia Organa. We stand against the First Order, a twisted, destructive pack of madmen who want to bring the whole galaxy into their grip. They want to destroy everything the New Republic has built. [ For a second Poe falters, eyes distant, seeing those lights over Takodana, the destruction of the Hosnian System and the capital. ] They won't. We'll stop them.

[ A small, sideways grin. ] And hey, if you do feel like joining, we could always use the help.

[The change in mood is notable, but Thor is captivated. Poe's passion and pride is evident, and Thor is moved.

He smiles, less sly and more warm.]

I do enjoy bringing down packs of madmen, but my own galaxy is in something of a conundrum too. It needs me.

[It's said with some severity, but he lightens up.]

It would be nice if we could bring ranks through the portals and help fight each others battles.

[volitaunt]

[ There's no denying the sudden feeling of camaraderie Poe has toward Thor. He liked the guy already, that's impossible not to do, but he hears something familiar in what Thor says. ]

That would be great.

[ The powers he's seen here would make a huge difference against the First Order. ...Of course, that means the First Order could bring people through, too. ]

But since we can't....

[ Like he did with Daenerys, Poe says: ] May the Force be with us both.
