Well, looks can be important.
There needs to be a healthy level of attraction to make something work.
Long-term, anyway.
But when it gets down to it, really down to it.

It does matter. I have to be attracted to the person I'm having sex with. But hotness can also be defined by the attraction itself. Personalities can be attractive. Courage. Confidence. My sister used the term nerd hot once and I finally understood what she meant.
