It's supposed to. The entire book is kind of about things being insane and off kilter.

Yeah, that is definitely one thing that is really weird. But we're all from so many different versions of Earth too, it's hard to decide if they're all like the same baseline planet.

Yeah, I've heard that. Some people just sort of think of Earth as you know, dirt under your feet or whatever. It's so weird that the word has the same double meaning at home as it does here, don't you think? Makes you wonder if things are connected and we just don't know about it.
