Shit, really? When I was thirteen my father stuck with teaching me to box and how to not accidentally shoot yourself.

I started boxing at five. Shooting came at age seven.

Haven't heard of Captain Marvel either. You guys have such weirdass names. Don't tell me you've got one.

[Ronan's face goes perfectly blank as he sees all the cool names he'd thought of vanish before his eyes.]

You could've gone with Nunchukking or hell, even Gun Girl, and you picked Honey Badger.

Honey Badger is cool! It fits our theme and it works because it sounds sweet but also has killer claws.

No, he didn't. I'm a clone. I was taught that stuff because people wanted me to kill for them.

[Ronan doesn't blink but he does stare rather oddly. Gabby may be only thirteen and call herself Honey Badger, but Ronan can think of no other way to put this.]

But it wasn't messed up when I told you I had gun training at the age of seven?

[ but she knows it's messed up. all the training, the various cruelties. the slow deaths her sisters suffered. ]

There's a difference between being taught how to use a gun and being told to go kill someone with it.

[There's also the cloning thing, but Ronan lost his rights to talk about the ethics of that.]

Clones are expendable. You can hurt them as many times as you want and it wouldn't matter. You can get them to do whatever you want because they owe you their lives.

[It's slight change, but Ronan's expression tightens and his eyes shift to the side for a moment. The memory of his own double dying because of him is one he's tried hard to suppress.]
