[The video opens on a rather ecstatic looking face, the Devil seemingly pleased beyond all measure as he stands in what appears to be an abandoned club.]

Hello, hello, you lovely duckies, you. Lucifer, here, and I'm thrilled to be able to share the news that through whatever means that I'm not currently questioning, my bar's wound up being sucked through that lovely portal. Or something. Not too sure on the specifics, but again, not questioning. To anyone who noticed a rather tall building appear, that'd be mine. Well, it is now. Papers signed and everything. Ladies and gentlemen... and others, welcome to Lux.

[There was a moment where he paused and turned the camera around, showing the interior of Quarantine's newest posh bar, then the screen was back on him and his too-pleased smile.]

While I'd love to open it as is, since everything including top shelf alcohol seems to have come through with it, I'm a bit short on staff. And by short I mean completely bereft. So, if anyone's interested in bartending, dancing, or finding another occupation that may be needed here, do please contact me. My new quarters will be in the Penthouse -- which reminds me, there's scads of floors here that are free, so I'm leasing space as well to anyone who's of a need. I'm sure there's a deal to be made for anyone interested.

Darling, I've had ages to think of terrible things to say involving you and me and a piano.

[He laughed, but he was already sending her the address via his phone, smiling as he hit send.]

I'll get out a bottle of the bubbly. I'd say this calls for a celebration, mm? I'll see you, love.

[Her phone buzzed, alerting her to his text. Lucifer would be able to see her standing in a small flurry of motion, already starting her trek over. He's usually got some good cheer to him, almost a manic kind of glee, but she knows how important Lux is to him. Seeing him happy makes her happy, too, especially when she can share that with him, no matter how weird it is.]

Mm, see you. And Lucifer? I'd better not see you lying naked on that piano when I get there.

[She clicks the feed off before he can respond, and off she goes. He should expect to see her soon. It's not too far away from where she is.]

[He was already slipping out of his suit and setting up a bucket of champagne. She would not see him lying naked on the piano, but instead, casually leaning against it, champagne bucket strategically placed and a single rose in his hand that he was brushing against his lips. This is your life now, Chloe.]

[Indeed it is. She's gotten used to him enough to know when he's up to no good. And that he's particularly good at finding loopholes, so while she doesn't expect the sight she's going to see, the fact that he'd have the audacity won't surprise her.

It doesn't take her long to get there, though she takes a few moments before entering. Just taking in the sight of the familiar building -- it obviously is Lux, at least from the outside. Same tall, white building nestled in with the rest of the city sights. Incredible. It's something she'll think on more later, when she's alone and has time to process. That's certainly one for her notes: buildings can travel here too.

But for now she's intent on seeing him and him alone as she strolls inside with a slow gait, eyes caught on the sleek, posh decorations she recognized so intimately. And speaking of intimate, her eyes finally catch sight of him before they drift skyward, as if she needs a moment to collect herself. Or send a silent 'you created this' up to his Father.]

You know, we should really have a conversation about your loopholes. They've gotten way out of hand. The rose is a nice touch, though.

It's hardly a loophole. I'm merely adhering to your wishes. I was tempted to be playing when you came in, but that might be construed as 'on' the bench, so... here we are.

[He spread his hands wide, waggling the rose over at her as he moved to rest a hand on the champagne.]

It's nice and chill and has a faint blush tone to it. Care for a glass?

Ah, I see, so this pose is my doing because I ruined your other one. Got it.

[A quirk of her lips as she approaches him, undeterred by his state of undress. Lucifer being naked is like seeing the sun out during the day.

She lifts a hand to take that rose from him, motioning to the champagne.]

Please.

[He leaned in and pressed a kiss to her forehead, moving to pull the bottle from the bucket and open it with a muffled pop. Loud pops with overflowing bubbles were for show and it was a waste of good champagne. He set the cork down and went to pour into the two glasses that had been resting on the piano beside him.]

You ruined nothing. I just have to be creative around you. I enjoy it. Keeps me on my toes.

It certainly keeps you on something.

[She moves to take a seat on the bench next to him, waiting for him to get their drinks as she gazes around the room. It really is Lux.]

I can't believe you just found this place sitting out here in the city.

Fortunate coincidence. I was heading over to one of the other bars and I saw a familiar outline. Couldn't believe my eyes, really, especially as it hadn't been here before. Lo and behold, there it was. Had a realtor's listing on the door and I called her up and explained that it was already mind, technically, and she transferred the papers over to me. The whole building's mine, now. Isn't that a laugh?

Just like that, huh...

[Said a bit absentmindedly as she mulls that over. Literally just handed the building over. So easy. But she doesn't linger on that too long, instead turning to slide up the cover on the piano keys and idly playing a few random notes.]

Guess it's pretty fortuitous, considering you didn't seem thrilled about the private investigator gig.

I didn't mind it. At first.

[He watched her start to play with the keys, moving to sit beside her and set the drinks on the top in front of them. His hand slid over the one teasing the notes out, looking over at her.]

I just found that my drive for investigating seems to come better when I'm around you. Or assisting you. I'm not really so much into looking for lost cats or cheating spouses otherwise.

Lost cats? Please tell me that was an actual case and not just an example.

[Her hand moved to touch his, taking any opportunity she can get to hold his.]

Speaking of investigating together, I'm hoping to move up in the ranks soon. Not sure exactly when, but soon. If you're still interested in joining me on cases, anyhow. I could really use your help.

It was. And I declined it. I'm not scouring the alleys looking for lost pussies.

[A smirk, because he knew how that sounded.]

I'm always available to help you, Chloe. I look forward to it. I know this isn't home, but with Lux here... well. Maybe we can get back into a similar swing?

Only with more sex. Much, much more sex.

Too bad. You're pretty good at finding them.

[Listen, if he can crack the joke, she can do it too.]

Maybe. It's kind of the only thing we can do, isn't it? Besides the researching I've been doing, anyhow. Though you'd be surprised how small the department is overall, compared to the one in LA. Or even the perimeter guard.

[A soft snort at his suggestive tone, hand moving to rest along his knee.] I dunno. We've been having a decent amount of it lately.

Touché, love.

[He lifted his hand to grab one of the glasses, bringing it down to hand to her.]

Well, it's a moon, not a planet, and it's but one small city that doesn't come close to matching the sprawling jungle of LA. America does sort of have the pinch on overlarge cities.

[He looks down at her hand on his bare knee, brows lifting even more suggestively as, yes, guess what else was starting to lift...?]

Mm, I meant in comparison to back home. I've rather enjoyed what we've had here.

[She takes the offered glass, making a low humming noise as she takes a sip.] I just meant in terms of the sheer number of people willing to go out and explore the woods as opposed to handling crime in their own city, small or not.

[Not that she can't understand the draw of that too, but still.

She quirks a brow at him as she sees more than one part of him lift, hand tightening a bit over his knee before settling higher up on his thigh.]

For the record, I'm... when we finally get to go home again, I'm hoping we can continue this there too.

I should hope so. I've gotten quite enamored of the taste of you.

[His hand moved to hers, sliding it off his leg and bringing it up to nibble before he placed it back on the keys. Ah, but now was time for teasing, apparently.]

Have you picked up anything else?

[She blinks, momentarily unsure of what he's referring to (and perhaps distracted by his lips and teeth teasing at her hand).]

What, you mean the piano?

Mm. I have quite a few fantasies involving you and this piano. I'll save the more prurient version for upstairs, but hearing you play? I'd like that, too.

Ah.

[She glances back down at the keys before shaking her head.]

Nothing except what we've already played together. I don't remember a lot from those lessons I took, so I'm not great at it.

Perhaps that's something we can change here as well. If you're interested...

You-- want to teach me to play? Really?

Only if you'd like to learn. I'm hardly going to nail you down to the bench and force you to.

[She's never been a star piano player. Music hadn't been her gift. And while she's never been a bad student, her general lack of interest had prevented her from keeping up with it. After she quit and the years went on, she just forgot. Use it or lose it and all.

But she is admittedly intrigued at the idea of him teaching her. And perhaps a lot of that is mainly the idea of spending more time with him.]

I wouldn't mind giving it a try. I think I could pick up on the basics quickly enough if I had a refresher, but everything else is a blur.

[His smile was that wicked one she might well be familiar with, Lucifer reaching over, around her, to pick her up and set her on his very naked lap.]
